What Compassionate cares about

Compassionate Afghanistan is a non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to addressing development in Afghanistan.

  1. The Problem Since 2021, women in Afghanistan have been systematically erased from public life, stripped of their right to learn, work, and exist freely beyond the walls of their homes. Many young women who were once successful students, teachers, and professionals are now unable to continue their studies or pursue traditional careers. However, remote skills like social media management give women an outstanding opportunity to work online and connect with clients around the world. The challenge is access to training and mentorship which teaches students these important digital skills. ⸻ The Solution Compassionate Afghanistan has developed a Digital Skills Workforce Development Program designed specifically for Afghan women and men. Students learn: • graphic design using Canva and Adobe tools • social media marketing • AI skills • branding and content creation • freelance client outreach • how to build an online portfolio By the end of the program, students will be prepared to work with clients globally! With your help, we can train the next cohort of students and help them build real online careers. Even $5 makes a difference. ⸻ Impact Your donation helps us: • train Afghan women/men in remote digital skills • pay teachers • provide mentorship and real-world projects • connect graduates with freelance opportunities • support women-led economic independence Just $300 can train one student, but a donation as small as $5 makes a difference. ⸻ Call to Action If you believe every woman deserves the chance to learn, work, and support her family, please consider contributing to this program. Your support will help create real economic opportunities for Afghan women. Funds will be received and managed by USA Compassionate Afghanistan Head of Digital Empowerment and Advocacy Maria Traver on behalf of Compassionate Afghanistan to support the Digital Skills Workforce Development Program. All funds will be tracked and documented to ensure transparency for donors.
