<div>In the prime of our youth, we lived a simple, stable life, but everything collapsed when war broke out.

<div>We lost our dreams, our memories, and the sense of safety that every human deserves.

<div>We ran for our lives under a sky full of bombs, carrying with us nothing but our terrified souls.

<div>That moment marked the start of our journey through pain, displacement, and despair.

<div>We found ourselves in unfamiliar places, enduring conditions that no one should face:

<div><strong>No real shelter. No safe space. No stability.</strong>
</div>
<div>We moved from tent to tent, searching for safety.
</div>
<div>But what we found instead was burning heat, freezing cold, swarms of insects, and sickness.

<div>On May 2nd, 2025, we were displaced again, for the 8th time.
</div>
<div><strong>We are trapped in an endless loop of exile and loss, living in what feels like an open-air prison.</strong>
</div>
<div>The conditions we face are unbearable:
</div>
<div>Ongoing displacement, no clean water, no steady food supply, and a total collapse of life’s basic necessities for over 22 months.
</div>
<div>We drink polluted water, which has caused us severe stomach infections, including Helicobacter pylori.
</div>
<div>Alaa suffered injuries in his right hand due to bombing.
</div>
<div><strong>We both suffer from severe malnutrition. </strong>

<div>Batool: A month before the war, I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Multimedia &amp; Web Development.

<div>I was excited to begin my career.
</div>
<div>But my workspace, my computer, and all my art equipment were destroyed under the rubble.

<div>I have nowhere left to build my future.

<div>Alaa: I was an art director at a respected firm. I was also a perfume maker, I created a scent called Coral that represented my personality and passion.

<div>It launched just 3 months before the war.
</div>
<div>I worked so hard to provide a decent life. But the war left me jobless, homeless, dreamless.

<div>We currently live in a makeshift tent with no roof.
</div>
<div>No protection from heat or cold.
</div>
<div>No clean food.
</div>
<div>No place to feel human again.
</div>
<div>Our greatest dream now is to have a small room to call home, and one clean meal that doesn’t make us sick.

<div>Why are we writing you this message?
</div>
<div>We write with hearts heavy with grief, hoping that someone, somewhere, will help us survive this genocide and forced starvation.
</div>
<div>Amid the crushing psychological and physical burden we carry, our financial situation has collapsed.
</div>
<div>Living costs in Gaza are now among the highest in the world due to the blockade.
</div>
<div>That’s why we launched this campaign:

<div>To humbly ask for your help, so we can meet our most basic human needs.

<div>1- Financial support to access food and clean water, to survive famine.

<div>2- Buy essential medicines and supplies to treat waterborne diseases and malnutrition.

<div>4- A solar panel and power tools to charge devices and light up the tent.
</div>
<div>5- Clothing, blankets, and cooking tools lost in the bombing.
</div>
<div>6- Firewood for cooking, since there’s no gas or electricity.
</div>
<div>7- A new, durable tent that offers some shelter from harsh weather.
</div>
<div>8- Cover travel costs to leave Gaza to Egypt when the Rafah crossing opens, then to the U.S. or Europe to start over.

<div>9- Small project funding to rebuild a life with dignity.
</div>
<div>10- Support to rebuild our workspace, laptop, and digital art equipment.

From a Dignified Life to Displacement Tents – Alaa & Batool

He leaves a huge emptiness in the hearts of all of us who loved and knew him. We will miss his laughter, sarcasm, and presence in our lives. We keep him in our thoughts and prayers, including his beloved girlfriend Joleen, son Benny (2.5 yrs), and soon to come son Roman.<br /><br />Although he was taken at a time so soon that we are unable to comprehend and struggle to come to terms with, we invite you to join in easing the family's pain.In this most difficult time, his family elected to donate his organs to anyone else who might be in need of a transplant. Even when he’s gone, he will continue to help others. The generosity of his family will allow for Giovanni to be the miracle that someone is praying for. <br /><br />The outpouring of support has been overwhelming and has been a shining light for the family in this most difficult time. This process has been emotionally and financially tolling on the family and we hope to have some financial assistance to lay him to rest. Funeral and Medical Expenses for Giovanni De Haro

On Monday, February 12th, the world lost Chris Bloniarz, a loving husband and father.  He was a hardworking, genuine and caring person who loved his family more than anything. He leaves behind Katie, his wife, and three small children, Chloe, Deaglan, and Grayson.<br /><br />Please help me in raising money for my cousin and Chris' wife, Katie. Nothing could ever bring Chris back, but the hope is to help ease the financial burden Katie is faced in raising these young children without him. <br /><br />These funds will be used to honor Chris and to keep his memory strong in the lives of his kids. Katie would be the first person to help someone else in need but the last in asking for handouts, so I'm doing it for her.
