Martyna Basta is a producer and touring musician based in Poland. Last week, while on tour in Berlin, Martyna had her musical equipment and personal belongings stolen. Among the stolen items were her computer, electronics and controllers, zither, camera, wallet, and other essential travel belongings. Martyna is a working artist, and losing this equipment has an impact on her ability to make a living and continue her creative practice. All support will go directly toward helping her replace these instruments and belongings. Thank you so much for helping Martyna replace her stolen equipment and continue making and sharing her music. More on the situation in Martyna's words: "I'm heartbroken to report that my backpack was stolen yesterday from a hotel's storage room. It contained all the gear I played my recent shows with: - MacBook M1 13inch 16GB grey (!serial number: C02FN3RCQ6LR) - Behringer UMC404HD (covered with stickers from @nts_radio @norbergfestival @schiev_festival @mondoj_) - Akai APC Mini MKII - Akai MPK Mini MKIII - Musima zither (red colour) - Schaller Oyster contact mic - Canon Powershot A520 Digital Camera (family treasure/sentimental value) The backpack was a black Patagonia. I'm not even listing the cables, adapters and all the other little things, not to mention my wallet with all my cards, id and passport... The loss of the zither is especially painful. It was first presented at Unsound 2022 just before the release of Slowly Forgetting, Barely Remembering. It arrived already out of tune, and I never retuned it; its peculiar sounding became a defining part of the album."
