Help Christina Win Her Battle Against Breast Cancer
Let's Rally behind Christina and release the worry to cover her medical and other expenses while she fights!
Dear Friends, Family, and Community,
We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts but hopeful spirits. Our beloved Christina has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. This devastating news has turned her world upside down; however, true to her nature, she is facing it with incredible bravery and strength.
To fight this disease head-on—just as we all know she would—Christina is scheduled to undergo a major surgery: a double mastectomy on June 3rd.
A Heart That Always Gives
If you know Christina, you know that she is always the first person to step up when someone else is in need. It is simply her caring nature, and she has spent her life lifting others. Now it is time to lift her when she needs it most.
What Christina is Fighting For
Christina is a dedicated wife to Todd and a loving mother to Connor. She has an unparalleled love for her family, and the challenges ahead will affect them all.
As an avid trail rider and an active member of the arena and drill team, she is a vibrant part of the equestrian community. For Christina, the most peaceful moments come from riding her horse, Mr. T. Together with her loyal dog, Raven, her animals and family serve as her sanctuary. Her biggest goal is to overcome cancer so she can get back in the saddle and return to the family and friends she loves so dearly.
The Road Ahead and Making Our Goal
The surgery is a critical first step in Christina's long journey to recovery. She will undergo several months of intensive rehabilitation and will need to limit her physical activities. As a result, she will have to take an extended break from work and will be physically unable to manage the daily chores required by her family, pets, and job.
Let's Rally behind Christina and release the worry to cover her medical and other expenses while she fights! Any donations will go directly to the Peterson Family. Please keep Christina on your prayer list.
