My name is CJ,
Heart wrenching and hard to talk about, as it is to share, this is my journey where everything changed in 2019, when a silent battle began — one I never imagined would still be unfolding all these years later.
For the past six years, I have been managing varied and ongoing Cancer treatments for Chondrosarcomas in my right shoulder, hip, and knee.
It has been a long road of resilience, pain, hope, and persistence.
In May 2024, I received more devastating news where I was diagnosed with lymphoma in my groin.
Four lymph nodes are now of serious concern due to their size, pain, and unpredictable growth fluctuations. Despite ongoing biopsies, chemotherapy and radiation, these treatments have unfortunately proven only partially effective.
After careful and extensive medical review, surgery has been identified as the most effective and realistic pathway to successful treatment and long-term recovery.
For over 20 years, I have lived and breathed Health & Wellness. It is not a job, or just something I do — it is a part of me, my very existence, and the way I move through the World. I live to serve, to share, and to educate others through the knowledge and passion I have built over decades.
Continuing this work, this purpose, and this way of life is what fuels me and my determination in this journey - and it is a major reason behind my decision to move forward with this surgery.
This decision, has not been made lightly.
I have spent countless months researching, consulting with surgeons and specialists across the world — Melbourne, London, Paris, Hong Kong, China and the United States, from Beverly Hills to Florida.
After exhaustive consideration, the surgery will be performed at the Miami Cancer Institute, a highly regarded and internationally recommended department of Baptist Hospital.
The procedure is scheduled for late July 2026.
I will require 2–3 days of hospital care, followed by a week of rest and recovery in New York, before making the long journey home to Melbourne, Australia.
The physical, emotional, and financial toll of this journey is significant — and it is more than I can manage alone.
I am asking for help — not because it is easy, but because it is necessary as insurance won’t cover the surgery or any of the overseas costs, and time away from work.
Your support will go directly toward:
* Life-saving cancer surgery
* Hospital and specialist care
* Post-operative recovery and medical costs
If you are able to contribute financially, no matter the amount, it will make a real and tangible difference. If you cannot donate, sharing this campaign is helpful too.
Every gesture of support carries hope with it.
I am blessed and deeply grateful to each and every on of You, who takes the time to read my story.
Looking up with Hope.
Thank you for helping me fight for my health, my future, and continuing to live.
❤️
