Paul was a dedicated Veteran that left behind his wife of 56 years Winky Scannell, son Ricky (Teri), daughters Jennifer (Adam), Yvonne(Josh) (Dan) &amp; Valerie (Jesse) along with 15 grandchildren &amp; 9 great grandchildren many in-laws &amp; countless family &amp;friends he considered family. Older sister to Angel, Raymond, Justino and Coco (pup), and also an Aunt of 5 nieces and nephew. She has unfortunately had an untimely passing, which is why we are here creating this campaign. Her amazing father, Ben Navarro has dedicated his life to helping others and has touched the lives of many Pittsburg residents through sports and community events. If you played any kind of sport with Uncle Ben in Pittsburg then there is a 90% chance that his babygirl Carissa was cheering you on in the stands! She was a BEAUTIFUL, LOVING, CRAZY young woman who blessed us with her presence for an incredible 30 years. If you were lucky enough to know Carissa there was a chance she put an "L" on her head to call you a loser, grabbed your sweater as you walked by to get your attention, or greeted you with the biggest smile on her face. Carissa loved being surrounded by her family, whether it was Sunday football with the boys or a family party at my Uncle's house. She was always so loving and even more loved, and will never be forgotten.<br /><br />All donations are appreciated and will go toward memorial expenses and helping me help Uncle Ben maintain his household while he is mourning this terrible loss.<br /><br />Also, for general knowledge. The creator of this campaign is Ben’s niece/ Carissa’s cousin, Anna-Leza (LeeLee) Davis. I am creating this on their behalf and will be receiving the funds from the GoFundMe personally to my pay for all of the expenses directly.<br /><br />Thank you all.

Jacob's Journey...... My 21 yr old son Jacob was hit by a DUI driver that blew a .252 on 12/3/2017. Jacob had to be life flighted to John Muir, had to have emergency brain surgery to repair 4 torn veins leading into a Crainiectomy since then Jacob has contracted Bacterial Meningitis keeping him from having his skull reattached for 3 mo.. then finally when cleared from the CDC had his skull replaced. Jacob can't work because he is going through intense therapy for PTSD, now we found out his body has rejected his own skull &amp; has to have a bone flap (skull) created. On 11/9/18 Jacob will undergo surgery to have a new skull implanted. The driver had next to no coverage, our medical Bill's are rising and more Bill's &amp; appointments to come. I lost my job of 18 years in May so anything would be much appreciated. PLEASE All our PRAYER WARRIORS continue to pray for Jacob's recovery. Our family Thanks You All... A day our families and I won't ever forget. My baby brother, Alex Vega, was one of the many victims who attended the event at the Oakland Warehouse that horrific night. My brother has not been recovered as of yet and we are in agony, just waiting for any kind of word about him. &#160;Everyone has been so supportive throughout this whole ordeal and many are asking how they can help in any way possible. This page is being set up for our family to help with future expenses that are coming.
