<div>As we all know, Missouri has had constant attacks on transgender healthcare from Congress, recently passing a law that will no longer allow Insurance to cover medical transitioning. I have been lucky enough to be able to start HRT, however, the next steps for my transition are being blocked by financial burdens and as stated before, insurance is not able to help cover the costs of my procedures. This fund is to cover the costs of my first procedure, Facial Feminization Surgery (FFS) and help with the cost of recovery time when I will not be able to work.

<div>We're Camp Indigo Point, a two-week sleep-away camp for LGBTQ+ youth, and especially trans and gender-expansive campers. We were started last year by a group of activists (and camp friends) in the effort to create an oasis for LGBTQ+ campers to just be themselves - something that is becoming more challenging to do in the political climate of our southern and midwest states.

<div>What we created was *magical*. We filled every one of the 97 camper-bunks we had with campers from 27 different States! This year are expanding and offering a two-week camp at a larger camp facility where we are excited to host close to 200 campers and staff for weeks of archery, swimming, arts, sports, and campfires!

<div>Camp Indigo Point is now an established board of leaders with a Camp Director, and is proud to be fiscally sponsored by PROMO, Missouri's LGBTQ+ advocacy organization.

<div>The work we are doing at camp is sacred; it is gifting LGBTQ+ youth a community to show up with their whole selves. We deeply believe that we are saving lives because there are youth, teens, and adults that have these weeks of total acceptance and celebration of who they are.

<div>We have committed as a camp to the value that the greater the financial need of a camper, the more important it likely is that they be at camp. Because of this we have given out enormous amounts of scholarship. In addition, we have priced camp even at full tuition at about half the cost of a normal sleep-away camp ($1400).

<div>So the long and the short of it is this: we need to raise $60,000 more to pull this off. To pay for scholarships, staff, and heart-breakingly - for security.

1680Entertainment is part of the management team behind <a href="http://1680entertainment.com/artist/bill-miller/" target="_blank">Bill Miller</a>  (Mohican), who remains one of the most admired figures in the Native American music arena and beyond. But, more importantly, we are only a small part of the universe of people like YOU that supports the legendary artist. <br /><br />Bill Miller was admitted into the emergency room of a Nashville hospital, while unable to breathe or walk. He was immediately rushed into surgery after medical personnel discovered multiple life-threatening blood clots in his leg, heart, and other areas. <div>Transgiving connects trans folks, families, and allies around a dinner table to enjoy good food and each other’s company. 

</div>

<div>On Wednesday, November 26th (the day before Thanksgiving), we will get together to cook and decorate St. Mark’s fellowship hall for the big day. If you have been a part of the cooking or decorating crews before, you know how much fun it is.

<div>For the second year in a row, our salads have been pledged to us by NEON GREENS, an amazing seed-to-plate restaurant. Thank you, NEON GREENS!!

<div>A lot of the food gets prepared the day before, so stop by for friendship and cooking with people you know and love - or making some new friends. We will be creating sign-up lists for the crews and event sign up for the dinner, but fyi - it is free.

<div>On Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27th, we will open at 10 am for a full day of cooking, eating, music, games, movies, a quiet room, video games, and an open mic.
