I never planned to rescue a cat in Makkah… but I couldn’t walk away. Medina was alone on the streets, weak, sick, and suffering. She wasn’t just hungry — she was fighting multiple infections, with no way to survive without help. I took her in because she had nobody else. What we discovered next broke my heart even more… Medina was pregnant. Because of how unwell she is, and because she urgently needs treatment, her babies sadly are not expected to survive. Her little body is already overwhelmed, and the priority now is saving her life. She is currently undergoing veterinary care for serious infections, and once she is stable, she will need to be spayed to prevent further suffering. Right now, Medina is being cared for by a kind family while her treatment continues, but the medical costs are growing quickly. I am raising funds to cover: • Hospital treatment for her infections • Ongoing medication and veterinary care • Emergency spaying once she is strong enough • Adoption documentation • Bringing Medina safely back to England • Giving her the happy, safe life she has never known Medina has already suffered more than any innocent animal should.
