About 14 years ago, everything started changing for me with MS. It was a difficult adjustment, and over time, my health challenges continued to grow. Six years ago, I underwent surgery to remove 18 inches of my sigmoid colon. I remember the surgeon telling me, 'You are cured now.' But I never truly felt cured, and my journey with illness continued. Now, I am on hospice care, facing tumors throughout my body, including many that are affecting my lungs. Each day brings new challenges, and I am doing my best to stay strong and hopeful. The support from friends, family, and my community means the world to me, and it helps me keep going even when things feel overwhelming. The funds raised through this campaign will help with medical bills, comfort items, and anything else that can ease my situation while I am on hospice. Your kindness and generosity will make a real difference in my life. You and your help equate to a successful event. Thank you, brother, and thank you to everyone who supports and shares my story.
I have just entered hospice care. Even though I knew this was coming, it still boggles my mind. Everyday tasks and challenges feel overwhelming, including things like my car tags being overdue for six months. The reality of this transition is hard to grasp, and I find myself struggling to keep up with the basics. Donations will help cover practical needs like renewing my car tags and fixing my home's bathroom drains, which are all mixed up. These day-to-day issues make it hard to concentrate and add stress during this time. Any support will help ease these burdens and bring comfort as I navigate hospice. Your kindness will make a real difference, helping me focus on what matters most. It's been fun, jitter bugs, but I need to seriously get serious. I'm asking for help from friends, family, and neighbors to make this transition a little easier. Any support or kindness means the world to me right now.
