- I’ve watched the women who raised me settle for careers and jobs they weren’t happy with, but they always encouraged me to chase my dreams—even when those dreams felt too big or impossible. Art has been my passion since I was a little girl, and I thrive when I get to use my creative abilities. Whether it’s painting a blank canvas, drawing, making faux stained glass, tattooing, jewelry, keychains, beaded pens, makeup, hair and nail art, photographing human anatomy or nature, refurbishing old furniture, writing poetry, or turning poems into songs, I love working with so many mediums. I’m even getting pretty handy with digital art. But right now, I don’t have a way to promote myself effectively. Living in a camper in the woods means I don’t get much natural light, and my art doesn’t get the attention it deserves. A laptop would allow me to promote my physical art online and help me edit, produce, and distribute my digital art. A camera and a set of photography lights would let me capture and share my work, especially since my living space doesn’t provide the best lighting. Internet access would let me edit, produce, promote, distribute, and ship whatever type of art I’m working on. These tools are more than just equipment—they’re the bridge between ‘hidden in the hills’ and ‘hello, world.’ If you choose to support me, you’re not just helping me buy equipment—you’re helping me unlock the life I’ve been chasing since I was a barefoot little girl coloring outside every line anyone ever gave me. Art has always been my heartbeat. It’s where my spirit stretches its legs, takes a deep breath, and remembers exactly who she is. I’ve spent years creating with whatever I could get my hands on—scraps, sunlight, dollar-store paint, and sheer stubborn determination. Now I’m ready to bring my art into the world with the clarity, color, and confidence it deserves. Your support—whether it’s five dollars or a share—would help me take this leap. You’d be helping a woman with messy paint-stained hands, a stubborn dream, and a heart full of gratitude finally step into the creative life she’s been building piece by piece. Thank you for believing in a girl who refuses to give up, even when her art studio doubles as her kitchen table.
