Hello my name is Rae I'm a disabled Veteran presently receiving treatments for stage 3 lung cancer and battling congestive heart failure. Seven months ago I lost my mother after caring for her on home hospice, holding her hand the morning of her passing until she took her last breath was the most difficult thing I've ever had to do. In her passing unfortunately I inherented their debt including a mortgage, in November I was faced with an extremely expensive and unexpected home repair which caused me to fall behind on the mortgage payments and now I am facing possible homelessness. So I've started this gofundme in hope that there are some people that will be willingnto support me during this difficult time in my life. These last seven months have been extremely difficult and challenging and have shaken my faith to its very core in ways I never thought possible. Throughout my entire life I have been caring for others, caring for my grandparents, stepfather and finally my mother through their last days and now I find myself in a situation where I an in dire need of help and support, for I am in a battle to keep a roof not only over my head but the heads of my daughter and now 11 year old granddaughter.
