<div>*Update: after long weeks in detention in which Mr. Inestroza was made to feel like a criminal- he arrived in Honduras on May 2. While he is away from his family- and as they desperately plan next steps- they have found comfort in knowing he is safe with family. Mr. Inestroza has felt comfort in knowing that so many people have stepped up to help his family here. I also made a wishlist of items that would make them feel
</div>
<div>some comfort- and some that they need. Please check out their wishlist. Their youngest has a birthday coming up on June 16! Let’s help him make it a good one!!! <a href="https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1S2DMU5WBZRM8?ref_=list_d_wl_ys_list_1&amp;filter=unpurchased&amp;sort=default&amp;viewType=grid" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1S2DMU5WBZRM8?ref_=list_d_wl_ys_list_1&amp;filter=unpurchased&amp;sort=default&amp;viewType=grid</a>

<div>On April 9, 2025 Mr. Inestroza was spending his birthday appearing at his scheduled immigration meeting in San Francisco. What should have been a day of celebration, has become a nightmare for him and his family. He was detained at his appointment and was told that he was going to get deported.

<div>Mr. Inestroza has been in the United Stated for 7 years, regularly showing up to his immigration appointments. He was the sole income for his family of 8. He currently has 3 school age kids (elementary school, middle school and high school).
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>His family needs support paying living expenses while they work on reuniting with him. (which is about 5,000 a month).
</div>
<div>Any donations would be greatly appreciated while they are dealing with these difficult times. Thank you for your consideration.

Help Mr. Inestroza's Family Stay Together

<div>We are raising funds to celebrate the life of Ernesto Sanchez, a beloved educator, mentor, and friend. The donations will help organize a Celebration of Life where the hundreds of students, families, and colleagues who were touched by Ernesto’s kindness can gather to honor him. Any remaining funds will be used to establish a fund for students at Luther Burbank Elementary, ensuring Ernesto’s legacy of supporting education continues.

</div>

<div>My name is Tina Pena and I am a Special Educator at Luther Burbank Elementary. I had the honor of working with the most incredible man, Ernesto Sanchez for the last 21 years. Ernesto put up a brave fight against cancer, and on January 8th 2025, he peacefully passed with his loving family by his side.

</div>

<div>Ernesto dedicated 38 years of service in education at Luther Burbank Elementary School, where he spent his last 21 years as a special education paraeducator. He was a huge influence on all students, families, and the entire community. By day, Ernesto worked as a paraeducator, supporting students with special needs. After school, he tutored struggling readers, and in the evenings, he taught adults English through the Adult Literacy Program. Ernesto believed in the power of education to transform lives and made every student feel valued, safe, and capable. He often said, “The students are sacred, and this work is sacred.”

</div>

<div>Ernesto was the most authentic, selfless, caring, hardworking, and wise human being. He inspired everyone to appreciate what life is really about, and that is to honor each other and nature. Ernesto was a very honest man and spoke the truth no matter the situation or outcome. He had a passion for all of life's simple pleasures such as music, art, and nature. Ernesto had a very quiet and humble disposition, and made an everlasting impact on all those he taught. His ability to see the best in people and bring out their inner light was truly remarkable. Now, his family, friends, and I want to honor Ernesto’s legacy by shining that light back on him.

</div>

<div>Your contribution, no matter the amount, will help us celebrate an extraordinary life and ensure Ernesto’s impact continues to inspire generations to come. Thank you for helping us honor a man who gave so much to his community and the world.

</div>

<div>The date of the Celebration of Life will be determined, taking place in February. Thank you.

Honor Ernesto Sanchez's Life and Legacy

<div>Hello, my name is Linnae De Martini and I'm fundraising on behalf of my sister and her family. They are living with the unbearable grief of losing their precious daughter, Madelynn Rose.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Madelynn (Maddie) was a compassionate, intelligent, creative and nature loving, 11 year old kid. Her family misses her deeply and are in shock from her sudden and unexpected passing.
</div>
<div>Maddie's parents (Dawn and Keith) and sister (Kayla) will need love and support from their family, friends and community through this extremely difficult time.
</div>
<div>My sister is self-employed and will not be able to continue with her job any time soon. Her husband is home now but will have to go back to work.
</div>
<div>Your donation will help alleviate some of their financial stress. This family is enduring enough anguish.
</div>
<div>Please find it in your heart to do what you can. Any amount is appreciated.

<div>Annie is adored by her family and friends. We are all gut punched and reeling from the devastating cancer diagnosis she received this week. However, we are CONFIDENT that Annie will fight this insidious disease with all she has. Please join us in this fight.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Let Annie's own words below guide you as you consider a generous gift of support.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>"I don't believe that I'll ever utter the words 'I'm grateful that I was diagnosed with cancer' but I can confidently say that this devastating disease has reminded me not only of what's truly important in my life, but also how amazing people can be. The night that my aggressive tumor was discovered in an ultrasound, I received a call at 10pm on a Saturday from the radiologist, a fellow mom of three boys, who quickly told me to save her cell number as she began holding my hand through the next necessary steps. I was dumbfounded by her kindness and have continued to be awed by the similar love that's been poured in the direction of me and my family. How can people be this good?
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As I've shared the news of my rapidly growing Stage 3 invasive ductal carcinoma, my trusted and closest circle of advocates of hope, has widened to hundreds of people in a matter of days. And truthfully, I am willing to accept all of it. I will need all of it. I am an apologetic, self-effacing people pleaser and family clown, but in this battle, I set all of that aside to accept whatever kind of encouragement people will give me as I begin treatment.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am not ready to leave. I am not ready to miss movie nights and endless laughter with my husband of less than a year. I am not ready to say goodbye to the magnum opus of my life, my children, my three beautiful sons, with futures so bright I can feel the heat of them pulling me forward.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I will fight this battle with every ounce of my being and I embrace all of your hope and will accept the shoulders you've offered me to lean on. I'm not ready to go. I'm not ready to leave any of you. All of you are so good."

Annie Bates Ganske; Fighting against Cancer!

<div>Please support the family of Tracy Bailon in this exceptionally difficult time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After a grueling four month long hospitalization Tracy could not fight any longer, and her body finally gave out. She was exceptionally brave and determined, even during two months on life support. Bryn stayed by her side the entire time, from Kaiser SR to UCSF and on to UCLA for 2 months. The kids joined him for over a month living near the hospital.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The family is devastated, and still reeling from her loss, Tracy was a mother and partner, parent educator, and a muse. She was a constant conscious and loving inspiration, she was incessantly curious and always promoted dignity, morality, creativity and learning. She also loved music and having fun. Bryn has lost his soulmate.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This fund will assist with medical bills, travel and living expenses during the very long hospitalization, and to assist the family transition to a new life missing their foundation. The fund will also support a memorial  celebration to be held in Tracy‘s honor.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you so much for all of the generous support thus far, Tracy’s “word of the day” was “Love.”
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are thinking of and missing her every day, She was truly an angel, And at 51 her time with us was far too short.

Help Support Tracy Bailon’s Family

This fundraiser is for Vicki Macchiavello. She is a brilliant mother of three and female entrepreneur, who has just battled, and won breast cancer. As those who are close to her and impacted by her forceful community building skills we want to offer her some support through these times.

Help Vicki Stay Grounded

Hello everyone,<br /><br />My name is Lorelei Krause and my mother, Laurie Krause (Hollingworth) is who this fundraiser is for. <br /><br />My mama has worked for many years and still works as a physical education and health science teacher at Lawerence Cook Middle School in Santa Rosa, CA. When she’s not teaching, she’s coaching, always dedicating as much of her time as possible to the students and to others. She rarely takes time for herself and almost never accepts help, making her one of the strongest, most caring people I know. <br /><br />At the end of May we found out that she had been diagnosed with Cervical Cancer, losing her mom Patricia (my nana) earlier that month made this news especially hard. Of course this was a shock for everyone, but what we hadn’t realized at that moment was the toll it would take on her, physically, emotionally and financially. Chemo and radiation has been extremely difficult on her body, with weekly and sometimes daily visits to the Emergency Room. As these weeks turn into months, hospital bills just keep adding up and with a teacher salary, the hope of paying these off in the end is becoming unreachable. <br /><br />With this fundraiser, any financial assistance would be greatly appreciated. As a family, we thank you for your support in these difficult times.

Anyone who has met Nancy knows that her commitment to the betterment of young people in our community through her work and friendships is truly inspiring, and her love and wisdom constantly improve the lives of those she touches.<br /><br />Despite another course of chemotherapy, a recent scan showed that the tumors have grown. Kaiser told Nancy, that they are unable to offer her further treatment options. These results and this news has left Nancy feeling scared and in a state of grief.<br /><br />The situation would be both overwhelming and exhausting for anyone, but Nancy is brave, hopeful and open to possibility. She is ready to approach her healing with new modalities that support her body and soul. Prior to her latest scan results, Nancy had been researching alternative treatments and has engaged the care of two knowledgeable and innovative alternative practitioners.<br /><br />Dr. Broffman and Dr. Cooluris work collaboratively, are well respected, and have many years of experience and expertise. Nancy feels confident that they will play a key part in her healing. They have advised Nancy to have the tumors genetically tested to guide her treatment and will also research potential clinical trials. They have also suggested immunotherapies, supplements, and dietary changes that have been shown to support the healing of cancer.<br /><br />Nancy has always prided herself on being independent and self-reliant. She wishes that she could handle this herself. However, family and friends have nudged her to ask for help. This is what grassroots fundraising was meant to do - help us come together as a community and create hope. <strong>Cancer is not only physically and emotionally debilitating but is financially devastating.</strong> These therapies are very expensive, as well as the funds necessary for <strong>medically related travel, time off of work, and keeping her household afloat.</strong> Financial and emotional support will play an enormous role in Nancy's health right now. It is of the utmost importance that Nancy find a treatment to shrink her tumors and prolong and enhance the quality of her life and having the funds to try new treatments will make that possible.<br /><br />Please know that you have the sincere and heartfelt thanks of Nancy and her family for any donations you are able to contribute. If you are unable to make a monetary donation, your prayers, well wishes and sharing of this campaign are most welcome.<br /><br />As she has always done, Nancy is approaching these new challenges with the courage, humor and conviction. Nancy walks with and through the stresses that cancer brings on a daily, monthly and yearly basis. Let’s help carry her financially by alleviating the financial constraints and burdens. Maya, Rowan, and all of us need our wonderful Nancy here on the planet with us for as long as possible! Let’s make miracles happen for Nancy and her beautiful family!
