My daughter Nicole was diagnosed with MS a week ago and just released from the hospital. She has constant dizzy and lightheadedness that may not go away due to the location of lesions on her brain and neck. She also has severe fatigue and weakness on her rightside restricting her mobility. Even A 5 minute shower takes 30 to 40 minutes. Small task are exhausting. Doctor told her not to drive and to take FMLA for now, but she has no way to pay her bills and get what is needed for her 2 girls. She cannot drive so they scheduled a home nurse and physical therapy to come to her house daily.
This is very heartbreaking as a mother and even more so being 30 and given such a hard diagnosis out of no where.
So if you find it in your heart to give anything, even $5.00, it adds up.
We want to keep her bills paid until her benefits kick in.
We are not ones to ask for help, but here we are. We will be filling for disability. But also told it could take months and that they may deny her a few times. If that is the case, we will have to get legal counsel. We are lost at what to do here.
Completely unexpected and we are unprepared. We don't know what future holds but for now, trying to take it day by day.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity, for your prayers, for helping me care for my (adult) child. I love her more than any word could describe. ♥️
