Honoring My Dad, Edward Day
<br /><br />Not many people knew this, but my dad carried a heavy burden with quiet strength. Earlier this year, he became an amputee and lost his leg. Even with the medical and financial hardship, he never once complained, never asked for pity, and never saw himself as less capable.
<br /><br />To everyone who met him, my dad was a big, jovial teddy bear — someone who brought humor, warmth, and resilience into every room. <br /><br />Just last week, I saw him at his happiest when he proudly announced the launch of his own company, 3L Luxury Transportation.
<br /><br />I was there for so many of his strategy sessions. Often, I’d be on speakerphone with him, listening in, learning as he started to bring me into the “family business.” <br /><br />His dream wasn’t just to start a company — it was to build a legacy for me to be part of.

That dream was cut short far too soon. Along with grieving my dad, I now have to take on the responsibilities he carried — from funeral arrangements to managing the household finances he always provided for.
<br /><br />Why This Campaign Matters

Until I can carry forward his dream of building the business, I need short-term support to get through this immediate and overwhelming season. This campaign will help me cover:
   •   Funeral and burial expenses
   •   Household financial obligations
   •   Breathing room to find my footing as I navigate life without him.  <br /><br />My dad will always be remembered as a man who lived with courage, humor, and heart. Supporting me right now is the most meaningful way we can honor his legacy.

<div>Marybeth has had multiple back surgeries over the years, with a large amount of metal added to various areas of her back. After her last surgery, she contracted a critical spinal infection. They had to remove all the metal from her back and induce extreme antibiotics and medication. After the infection cleared, they reinstalled all the metal into her back.
