It’s hard to believe it’s been over a year since the fire. We are still going to surgical appointments. Dealing with wound care and may have to do a more invasive surgery. Aaron’s skin on his hands has grown back webbed. He is going to have to have surgery on his hands to cut that part of the skin. He still is having problems breathing which is very concerning. He will not go back to the burn unit for analysis until after the laser surgeries have been completed. He has 5 down and 3 to go. He is not allowed to be in the sun for 3 months after each laser surgery. Being that he has one every other month, that pretty much has kept him inside this entire journey.
