<div>On the 20th of December, our sweet boy, <strong>Micah Demskiy</strong>, met with the Lord. A devastating chain of events unraveled, causing the death of a one-year-old son of Angelina Demskiy.

<div>The sweet little boy was a kind and joyful soul, loving all people and especially dogs. His kind heart and beautiful smile warmed the hearts of everyone he came in contact with. He loved his family and especially his mama. He loved being with family, going to the park, and singing hymns with his family.

<div>The San DIego Legion Academy U-14 team has been invited to the New South Wales Waratahs Regional Tournament July 6th and 7th. Waratahs is a professional rugby team based in Sydney. What that invitation means is the State of New South Wales which is twice the size of California gets split up into 4 regional all-star teams. Those (4) U14 teams play each other over the weekend of the 6th and 7th of July. From that tournament, my counterpart at Waratahs, Coach Andrew Cleverly, will select the Waratahs U-14 team who will play against the Queensland Reds U-14 team in September/October. That last part is not important. What is important is that we are going to go up against some very stiff competition and we want to put the best 15 players from the state of California on the field. We are looking to do some fundraising and sponsorship to help defray the cost for travel.

<div>On the evening of January 13th, Our beloved Destiny Marie Gama lost her life in a tragic car accident. It is with our saddened hearts to share this news. Destiny was a daughter, sister, niece, and friend to so many. Destiny was only 18 years old and on track to graduate in March; with plans to enter the army after graduation. She was determined, hardworking, and outgoing. She had big dreams and was working towards making them come true. Unfortunately, now these goals and ambitions will never be fulfilled. She was the ultimate girly girl, she loved makeup, all things pink, and brought so much joy &amp; laughter to anyone who got the chance to be a part of her life. She had a smile that was infectious and a laugh that was so contagious. She brightened up every room she entered. No parents should ever have to receive the news of their child/children being in such an accident. Nor, have to bury their 18 year old child under any circumstances. We are asking for an altruistic amount of support from our family, friends ,and community to show the love and support that Destiny’s family needs during this extremely difficult time. All donations and proceeds earned will be for the use for burial and funeral service expenses for our beloved Des. The Thompson family was a week and a half away from their due date to bring home a baby girl, their first girl, Brianna Rayne Thompson. Their world was shattered Wednesday at a regular prenatal visit to find that their girl did not make it. Blanca is a full-time mom raising and homeschooling their two sons. Cory is an amazing and devoted father who works hard to provide for his family. They have been blessed by their Church who will be covering services. <p>My Name is Wanda Paulson-Stensrud, and I live in Stettler, Alberta, Canada.  I am 44 Years old.<br />2015 has been a year of unthinkable...<br />This picture was taken March 12-2015.  It was a happy day of celebration for our family.  It was the day I finished Radiation treatments at The Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton, Ab.  <br />Jeff and I are pictured with our, then 9 month old granddaughter Tara.  Ami, our daughter, had taken the photo. They had come to help us celebrate!<br /><br />You see, I had been diagnosed with a rare form of Bone Cancer, on Wednesday January 7-2015.  <br />I was informed that the severe pain in my leg/hip/back, was caused from a cancer mass inside my sacrum (lower spine area)<br />The mass was so large, it was forcing the bone cavity to expand and was putting pressure on the Sacral nerves. <br />Hence ridiculous pain.<br /><br />Plasmacytoma  or myeloma.  <br />Treatment plan: 20 doses of Radiation Therapy<br />Outcome of Radiation Therapy..."Exceptionally effective"... as shown on April 22 PET Scan<br />Then monitor with lab tests and another PET Scan in October (6 months)<br />Unable to work, Jeff and I were living on his income alone.  Things were tight, but we were doing 'Okay"<br />July Re-check that Jeff and I went to, showed things were staying stable.  So, continue monitoring.<br />Lab tests from August showed slow but sure improvements. As did September lab results...<br /><br />However, My life and my entire family's lives, turned upside down on Saturday, August 29-2015... <br />As if dealing with Bone cancer wasn't enough.<br />There was a freak farming accident. <br />Jeff lost his life.  Killed instantly.  A horrible loss.<br />Anyone who knew him, knows just how big of a void that loss has left. <br />Loss of husband, best friend, dad, grandpa, son, brother, uncle...you name it... stolen.  Taken way too soon.<br />I am now without my best friend, husband and number one support  Trying to move forward.  All the while, with a battle against the cancer.  And depleted finances.<br /><br />My PET Scan report from October 26, is now showing  2 new lesions have developed. <br />New level= Multiple Myeloma Bone Cancer<br /> Western/conventional medicine is suggesting aggresive chemo treatments and possibly stem cell transplant.  Even with their suggestion, they say that my prognosis is approx 7-10 years... all the while under treatments... which equals not so great for quality of life, while I'm here... Not much else to offer, from their standpoint.  And my Oncologist says that he can't see that my stress has any bearing on my situation... REALLY?<br /><br />I have, however, found much more appealing options for treatment, with a whole lot better prognosis...  Alternative and conventional combined,  as well as out of country.  But that also means it's <br />"out of pocket" to pay for the care.  <br />So very Thankful for the support of family and friends, that have been helping, with day to day expenses...   <br />This fund is to take my care and treatments to a new &amp; hopeful "level"<br />The sooner I can get started treatment the better.  <br />No time to lose.<br /><br />I'd kind of like to be here long enough to watch my grandchildren grow up.  Amongst a long list of wishes, of things to be around for... <br />I am literally fighting for my life... And trying to pick myself back up, after suffering a huge loss...  <br />I know things are tight for everyone...
