<div>Hello my name is Cathy, and Bella is our Furry baby. We adopted her on 3/17/2019 on St Patty's Day . You can say we are the luckiest Humans in the World to have her in our lives. Shes the most lovable, sweetest and protective furry baby girl you could ever meet. So for us to receive the bad news that her injury would actually need surgery our hearts broke in pieces.

<div>Bella has had a history of what we thought was muscle pain she would be back on her feet with rest and pain medication but when we took her a couple weeks ago to the groomers and picked her up we noticed she had a limp, by the time we got home she could barely walk. This prompt us to take her to the vet the next day . The recommendations were to do an xray and based on the findings we were told to see an Orthopedic specialist.

<div>Bella was seen and we were told she has bilateral CCL (cranial cruciate ligament injury) and needs surgery ASAP. The cost for the surgery would run between 5000 and 7000 with Physical therapy.

Así pues, en los próximos días podrá finalmente descansar. No queremos dejar de agradecer las muestras de cariño que a ambos lados del Atlántico nos han hecho sentir la importancia que él ha tenido en la vida de tantísima gente y como ha sido un modelo capaz de generar toda una ola de solidaridad. Queremos reiterar el agradecimiento a instituciones, entidades y personas anónimas que nos han tratado de ayudar incondicionalmente, así como al personal médico que cuida de él en estos días tan difíciles. Queremos honrar su memoria y recordarlo como la persona que siempre fue: bondadoso, trabajador, amigo fiel, hombre de corazón enorme, con una sonrisa y tiempo para cualquiera que se le acercase. Machado The family of Juan Manuel Linares Vega wishes to communicate that the damages suffered by Juan Manuel, our husband, son and brother have made his state, unfortunately, not compatible with life. And so, in the next few days, he will finally rest. We can not give enough thanks for the great displays of love and kindness that have been demonstrated on both sides of the Atlantic. This has shown us the importance that Juan Manuel has had in the lives of so many people and how he has set an example for us of a person capable of generating a whole wave of solidarity. We want to reiterate our gratitude to the institutions, entities and anonymous donors who have made an effort to help us unconditionally, as well as to the medical personnel who are taking care of him in these difficult days. We wish to honor his memory and remember him as the person he has always been: kind, hard-working, a faithful friend, a man with a huge heart, who always had a smile on his face and was ready to give his time to anyone who was near him. It is with an extremely heavy heart that we share the news of Caitlin Serra's tragic passing.  On March 11th, Caitlin tragically lost her life at age 31 due to complications from necrotizing pancreatitis and septic shock. Cherished wife of 3 years to Daniel Serra. Loving mother of 13 month old daughter, Gianna Serra. Beloved daughter of Joseph and Susan Murray. Dear sister of Christopher Murray. Adored granddaughter of Rosalie Valjavec and Josephine Murray. Dearly loved daughter-in-law of William and Pia Serra and countless members of her extended family. Caitlin was so full of life - she brightened up each and every room she entered with her contagious laugh and smile. She was the best storyteller. Her personality was unmatched &amp; truly one of a kind. Nothing will ever be the same without her beautiful energy. All Caitlin ever wanted was to be a mommy. On February 1st, 2019, her dreams came true when Daniel &amp; Caitlin welcomed their beautiful baby girl Gianna Rose Serra into the world. From that day forward, Caitlin's goal was to be the best mommy &amp; wife she could be. And that she was. Caitlin endured 55 days in the hospital, suffering in agonizing pain. As you can imagine, our brother Daniel has racked up a lot of unexpected medical bills and he is currently on unpaid medical leave with his job as he sorts things out. Please consider donating to Caitlin's memorial fund to assist their family in any way that you can. All proceeds will go towards medical expenses, immediate needs of Gianna (food, clothing, diapers, wipes, etc.), and anything left over will be put into a college fund for Gianna Rose Serra. SOMETIMES EVEN HEROES NEED SAVING On Thursday, December 27th, 2018 Erik Conde, father of three and loving husband arrived at his job as a Firefighter Paramedic for Hallandale Beach Fire Rescue, where he's been serving with distinction for over 4 years. Erik had no reason to think this shift would be unlike the countless others he’s served with his second family of fellow firefighters. Running calls, assisting the public, eating meals and laughing and joking with his crew. Little did Erik know that in less than 24 hours he would go from being someone who responded to the needs of others on some of the worst days of their lives to literally fighting for his own. Friday morning, less than 30 minutes prior to the end of his shift, Erik suddenly collapsed onto the floor of his Fire Station, his heart not pumping and his body not breathing. His crew, his second family feared the worst. Putting aside their shock they began the life-saving work that they were trained on for years. Training to be put to service helping the community they serve, but never with the thought of needing to save one of their own. Erik was found to be in a severely life-threatening cardiac arrhythmia and was not breathing on his own. Thanks to the quick thinking of his crew, he was able to be defibrillated and his heart re-started. Unfortunately, Erik never regained consciousness. As firefighters, as paramedics we are used to coming to the assistance of others, it’s not in our nature to ask for help. Now we are asking for your help. Erik is currently in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit of Aventura Medical Center. The diagnosis is that Erik’s lungs were somehow injured, probably from an infection he’d been harboring as many of the patients we come in contact with are fighting an illness of one kind or another. The doctors are unsure as to what caused his cardiac arrest but for now, he is on an ECMO machine. Being used to bypass his lungs, oxygenate his blood and keep his body and brain alive while his injured lungs heal. He has his wife. He has his children He has his parents and family And he has his fire &amp; police family. Erik’s road to recovery will be a long and potentially expensive one but make no mistake, a Husband, a Father, a Son, a Brother is still fighting for his life.
