<div>On the 12th of August my dad was in London looking forward to going to a Coldplay concert with myself, my sister and his nephew.

<div>Unfortunately, this day that he dreamt of, quickly turned into a nightmare when my dad suddenly collapsed. After tests and scans he has since been diagnosed with a stage 4 - glioblastoma brain tumour. This has been devasting news for us all and as a family we have been attending appointments to discuss his treatment plan and my dad has recently undergone brain surgery to remove as much of the tumour as possible, but unfortunately this disease is incurable. Although radiotherapy and chemotherapy can be offered, this will still only give him on average 12-18 months to live.

<div>Anyone that knows my dad knows what a loving and caring man he is, and how much he loves his life and family. We aren’t willing to let this nasty disease beat him and want to explore every option available to give him some more time. 
</div>
<div>We are looking to raise as much funds as possible big or small, I know things are extremely difficult for everyone being in the middle of a cost of living crisis but anything would be gratefully appreciated and this would be put towards private treatment at the London Oncology Clinic in Harley Street, they can provide medication in hope to slow down the growth of the tumour and help towards killing the cancer cells.

<div>Due to other complications he has faced along the way, with blood clots in his lungs and pneumonia we are still in discussion with what standard care treatment can be provided. If the treatment is not an option all donations will be put towards making my dad have the best life with the time he has left.

<div>My dad has been made aware of his illness but due to his condition he does not understand the severity of this and as a family we have agreed to keep it this way as we want to keep him in a positive mindset. If people do visit please may we ask that you respect this wish.

<div>Snowy isn’t just any dog — he’s a true adventurer. For most of his life, he’s lived aboard our boat, the September Moon, sailing alongside us through calm seas and wild weather. He’s our loyal little deckhand — always first to greet the morning, nose in the wind, tail wagging as if to say, “What’s next, Skipper?” Sadly, I am unable to sail him home quickly, so we must fly him.

<div>But for the past five months, Snowy has been separated from Sherryn. It’s been incredibly hard on her — he’s her boy, her shadow, her comfort through life’s ups and downs. The bond they share is something truly special, and every day apart has left an ache in her heart.

<div>Right now, Sherryn’s dad is unwell and undergoing chemotherapy, and she’s his full-time carer. It’s been such a difficult time, and having Snowy home would bring so much love, warmth, and healing energy into their lives. Snowy has always had a way of lifting spirits — one wag of his tail and the world feels a little brighter.

<div>The total cost to bring Snowy home is £4,382, which covers his travel, quarantine, and all necessary veterinary checks. I’ve already paid a deposit of £1,095, but we still need to raise the remaining £3,287 to get him home safely.
