As-salamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh, I am reaching out to ask for your support for two incredible grassroots animal charities in Lombok, Indonesia, who dedicate their lives to caring for some of the most vulnerable of Allah's creation. OMASUKULO Sanctuary (POPI Foundation) rescues abandoned, abused, neglected and seriously injured dogs and cats. Every day they provide food, shelter, veterinary treatment, vaccinations and life-saving care to animals that have nowhere else to turn. We are also fundraising for a fridge freezer specifically for OMASUKULO Sanctuary. This is an important need that will allow the sanctuary to safely preserve food and essential medication for the rescued animals, helping them maintain proper storage of vital supplies and continue providing the best possible care. Alongside this, the Turtle Conservation Community at Nipah Beach works tirelessly to protect endangered sea turtles, safeguard nests, care for hatchlings and educate the local community about protecting marine life for future generations. In Islam, kindness towards animals is an act of worship. The Prophet ﷺ said: «“Whoever is kind to the creatures of Allah is kind to himself.” (Reported in al-Adab al-Mufrad)» He ﷺ also told us of a person who was forgiven by Allah for giving water to a thirsty dog, reminding us that every act of mercy towards an animal is seen by our Creator. These organisations rely almost entirely on donations. Hi, my name is Rachelle and I am fundraising for The Food Project. ❤️ The Food Project ❤️ The Food Project was established by Sister Aaliyah in 2021 with the aim of supporting those experiencing homelessness across London. Since then, Alhamdulillah, a dedicated team of volunteers has come together to serve our community with compassion and dignity. Every month, we travel to Charing Cross to provide hot meals, clothing, trainers, hygiene bags, nutrition packs, sleeping bags and other essential items to those sleeping rough. We rely entirely on the generosity of donors to continue this work. Every donation, no matter how big or small, helps us provide warmth, comfort and hope to those who need it most.
