The 25-member team that manage the Elephant Aware Conservation Project in southern Kenya has lived and worked in a tented camp without a source of running water for the past 15 years. Every 2-3 days, one team member travels to a spring to fill jugs with enough water to support their needs for drinking, cooking, showering, cleaning, etc. Due to the ever-increasing dry conditions of this area of the Mara, this manner of delivering water to the camp is coming to an end. It is becoming extremely difficult to access groundwater during dry seasons, and the camp’s rainwater catchment tanks are often empty.

<div>A recent hydrologist’s study has shown that a nearby aquifer will most likely provide a consistent source of clean water year-round. <strong>It is now possible to access this aquifer and pipe and pump water that will meet the team’s needs and the needs of the wildlife in the area.</strong> Any overflow of water would be returned to the spring to be used by wildlife.

<strong>Hello Dear Friends and Supporters!!</strong><br /><strong>I am posting my campaign again as there is again a SERIOUS NEED FOR FUNDS!!</strong><br /><strong>In Yangon exists 200,000 stray dogs in 33 townships of Myanmar’s capital.</strong><br /><strong>Poisoning is happening now at an alarming rate. Myanmar is one of the poorest countries in Asia with little to no resources for the hundreds of strays on the street. Rabies is highest here. </strong><br /><strong>At the heart of this is human animal conflict.  </strong><br /><strong>BUT POISONING IS A SHORT TERM CRUEL MEASURE. </strong><br /><strong>Every 3.5 months, more pups are born. </strong><br /><strong>1 dog can produce 67,000 dogs if all survive in her short lifetime!!!</strong><br /><strong>Strychnine is sometimes force-fed to these hungry dogs. After seizing in the heat for hours- they die a painful death. </strong><br /><strong>OR they are captured and sent to a hellish pit where rice and fishbones are fed to 1000 dogs, puppies, nursing moms....no medical care, clean water. </strong><br /><strong>So many have died there....</strong><br /><strong>I am asking for funds to work with local communities to do TNVR</strong><br /><strong>Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate Release. </strong><br /><strong>We can sterilize and vaccinate a dog for 25 US dollars. </strong><br /><strong>PLEASE HELP ME DO THIS!! I am going to Myanmar in October but have already successfully sterilized hundreds of dogs in Mandalay with the help of non profit organizations and local veterinarians. </strong><br /><strong>Lets give these dogs a chance to live peaceably among the community and STOP THE CONTINUED DOG OVERPOPULATION CRISIS. </strong><br /><strong>Thank you so so much for your kindness and open heart! </strong>❤️<strong> </strong>
