My name is Shaun Young, and I am searching for my brother, James Benjamin Young Jr. I’m seeking help to Find My Missing Brother – James Benjamin Young Jr. (Jay Jay) - Missing since 2013. Today is his 51st birthday (12/28/1973), and he has been missing for approximately 12+ years. Our family has lived every day with unanswered questions and uncertainty. He used to call just about every week and sometimes multiple times a week, and it just stopped around 2013. He was in the Bay Area of California. The most recent information we received was about 8 months ago, when the police in Richmond, California, informed us they had run-ins with Jay Jay. I left my contact information with them, hoping for a call—but so far, we have heard nothing. These funds will be used to: • Hire a private investigator • Obtain records and documentation • Travel expenses related to searching • Printing flyers and outreach efforts If you have any information at all, please reach out. Even the smallest detail could help bring clarity, closure, or reunion. Our mother has a small hint of some type of dementia, but before that happened, I promised her I would find Jay Jay.
