<div>I am Varun from Washington DC and <strong>I created this page for baby Maryam and her family from Gaza</strong>. Imagine giving birth while bombs are falling and hospitals are under attack. That is what Doaa and her family experienced when they welcomed their beautiful daughter, Maryam, into the world. Now, Doaa is struggling to keep her precious newborn and her 3-year-old sister, Hoor, healthy and safe. Due to malnutrition and physical and emotional stress, Doaa has only been able to produce a small amount of milk, crushing her dreams of breastfeeding her baby. Milk, food and other basic necessities are extremely expensive. With the help of previous donations, Doaa has been able to keep her family alive thus far. But now these funds have been cut off and this beautiful family desperately needs help. After being introduced to Doaa through my wife, I was eager to help when I found out she needed it. I hope you will join me in saving this lovely family.

<div>After their home was bombed in October 2023, the family has had to evacuate multiple times by foot while Doaa was pregnant. When she was finally able to receive some prenatal care, doctors told her the baby’s health was in danger due to walking these long distances. After giving birth, the family are now living in a tent where conditions are hot and unsanitary and food and water are scarce.

It is now uninhabitable and needs more than 250 thousand dollars to repair it. My family is now in northern Gaza. <div>My name is Fadi Mahdi 26 years old, from Gaza, living with my wife Rawan Mahdi 22 years old, my daughter, Aya, she’s 5 years old. She has a hearing loss. I had a cochlear implant that cost more than 25.000$. With additional health problems because of quality of the atmosphere and the remaining food. My son Majdi is 4 years I’m with my family and my parents (father, mother and younger brother, literally in the street, they destroyed my house, my hopes, and all what I have are my family, we are not safe, without food, without home, trying to help my little daughters with their mother to leave Gaza, to Egypt, but we can’t afford the extra high amount of money, it’s a thousands of dollars for one person from Gaza to enter Egypt, without food and home, we will not survive for long time, Please we are asking for good people to help.

We live like homeless people. We have no money or a home. We face the danger of death at every moment. I am sad that my daughter has hearing loss and had expensive surgery. Now I fear that circumstances will lead to the failure of the operation. The hearing aid is expensive and needs to constantly charge the battery.
