For the past three years, I have been the primary caregiver for my partner, who was diagnosed with brain cancer. This journey has been filled with challenges, both emotional and financial, as I do everything I can to support my partner through treatment and daily life. Being an unpaid caregiver means that I dedicate my time and energy to their well-being, often putting my own needs aside to make sure they are comfortable and cared for.
Recently, things have become even more difficult. Two months ago, I lost my only form of assistance—food stamps—which has made it nearly impossible to keep up with the rising cost of groceries and basic living expenses. While my partner has a separate GoFundMe to help with medical bills, I am left struggling to cover the essentials that keep us going day to day.
I am reaching out to ask for your help. Any support you can offer will go directly toward food and living expenses, allowing me to continue caring for my partner without the constant worry of how we will get by. Your kindness and generosity would mean the world to us during this difficult time. Thank you for considering a donation or sharing our story.
