We are the Menai Muttineers Flyball Club, a small grassroots dog sports club based on Anglesey, North Wales.
There are very few flyball clubs in North Wales, and we want to make sure people in our area have the chance to discover this fantastic sport without having to travel hours just to train.
For us, flyball is about far more than racing dogs.
Our club gives people a place to belong, make friends, get active and enjoy something positive with their dogs. We encourage responsible dog ownership, positive training, exercise, mental stimulation and teamwork. We welcome complete beginners and help both dogs and handlers build confidence at their own pace.
Our little crew has already come a long way, but we now desperately need equipment to keep growing.
We are raising money towards:
* Training lights, so we can safely continue training our crosses and runs.
* Flyball boxes, which are one of the biggest and most expensive pieces of equipment we need.
* Jumps and training equipment, allowing us to run better sessions and welcome more beginners.
* Equipment that will help us take flyball into more communities across North Wales.
Every piece of equipment we buy will be used again and again by our members, future beginners and the next generation of dogs joining the sport.
We have big ambitions for a small club. We want to build something that North Wales can be proud of, give more people access to dog sport and create a friendly community where dogs and people can thrive together.
Whether you can donate £5, £50, share our page or simply tell somebody about us, every bit of support puts a little more wind in our sails.
Help our little pirate crew keep racing, training and growing.
Diolch yn fawr iawn from all of us at the Menai Muttineers. ☠️
