My name is Svetlana, and I am a nurse asking for help during one of the scariest moments of my life. My fiancé and I are trying to raise funds so we can file a lawsuit related to an attempted wrongful foreclosure and take the legal steps needed to protect our home. We have been trying to handle this on our own, but the filing costs are standing between us and being able to act. At the same time, we are dealing with a serious medical situation. David has an umbilical hernia, no health insurance, and I am scared of what could happen if it becomes an emergency. As a nurse, I understand how quickly complications can become life-threatening. We are doing everything we can to stay safe, stay housed, and keep fighting, but we need help getting through this immediate legal hurdle.
