<div>SPEAKUp in COLOR ~2025~Foundation of Hope

</div>

<div>Help Build the School of Color for 100 Children in Zambia

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Goal: $80,000

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Join us in laying the foundational building blocks for The School of Color in Zambia, a vibrant sanctuary for education, emotional growth, and community. Your support will help provide classrooms, a computer lab, and critical resources for over 100 children at Celecho Orphanage, empowering them to break the cycle of poverty and achieve brighter futures.

</div>

<div>A Vision of Hope and Color

</div>

<div>Imagine a school where each color represents a step toward healing, empowerment, and self-expression. This is the vision behind the School of Color, a safe learning space for children at Celecho Orphanage, designed to educate, inspire, and uplift.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Meet the Founder:

</div>

<div>Julie Schindler, founder of SPEAKUp in COLOR, is a disabled mom driven by her passion for helping children overcome trauma, express their emotions, and find their voices using COLOR. In collaboration with the Celecho Orphanage in Zambia, she has transformed this vision into an impactful, community-centered mission.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Why the School of Color is Needed

</div>

<div>Breaking the Cycle of Poverty: In Zambia education is key to overcoming poverty, but local resources are limited. With a permanent school, children at Celecho will have the dedicated space and tools they need to learn, grow, and pursue dreams beyond survival.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Healing through Education and SEL: Using Social Emotional Learning (SEL) methods, the School of Color will equip children with critical emotional tools, supporting their personal development alongside their academic education.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>A Lasting Legacy: This school will not only serve today’s children but future generations, creating a self-sustaining community resource for years to come.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Goal: $80,000 to cover foundational costs, architectural blueprint, structural build-out, and essential resources. Each dollar supports a tangible step in building and equipping this life-changing space.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Your contribution will directly fund:

</div>

<div>Foundation and Structure: $35,000 for land preparation, foundation blocks, walls, and roofing.

</div>

<div>Classroom and Library Setup: $20,000 for desks, chairs, shelving, and library resources.

</div>

<div>Computer Lab and School Supplies: $15,000 to provide computer lab equipment, books, and essential school supplies.

</div>

<div>Teacher and Staff Training: $10,000 for hiring, training, and ongoing support for educators and emotional wellness facilitators.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>“Your Dollar, Your Impact”: Donation Tiers

</div>

<div>Support a Foundation Block: $1 per block; help us lay 7,000 blocks to secure our land &amp; property boarder.

</div>

<div>Sponsor a Desk: $50 will provide a desk, giving children a place to learn and grow.

</div>

<div>Build a Classroom: $1,000 sponsors an entire classroom’s setup, complete with desks, shelving, and supplies.

</div>

<div>Empower with Technology: $5,000 will sponsor our computer lab, giving children access to digital resources and opening doors to future opportunities.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Updates and Community Impact: As we work towards this goal, we’ll share regular updates on construction progress, children’s stories, and milestones achieved. Follow along as we transform each donation into a brick, a book, or a moment of learning for our children.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Your Legacy of Coloring in Hope: Supporters will have the opportunity to be part of our “Wall of Hope,” a digital tribute where every donor’s name or dedication will be honored on our website and at the school.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Thank you for joining us on this journey to build a lasting foundation of hope and opportunity for the children of Celecho. Together, we can empower these children with the tools, confidence, and support they need to paint their futures with bright colors and boundless dreams.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Let’s rise up as a community to build this School of Color—one block, one book, one bright future at a time.

Help 100 Children in Zambia: Fund a School of Color

Deja is raising funds for her fiancé Nate, a dedicated firefighter recruit, who suffered a heart attack while training last August. Since then, life has changed in an instant. 11 months later, now that he’s back home, Nate is still facing the physical and emotional toll of recovery along with mounting medical expenses, recovery costs, and insurance-related burdens. On top of that, they are in an ongoing legal battle with the city to secure the workers compensation support he should have, and he has been placed on unpaid leave during this already overwhelming time.
<br>
<br>
 This fundraiser will help ease some of that pressure by covering <strong>immediate bills</strong> and <strong>ongoing treatment</strong> while Nate is unable to work. Every donation, no matter the size, will help provide stability as they fight for his health and his rights. If you are able, please consider supporting Nate and standing with them during this difficult chapter. Your kindness, generosity, and encouragement mean more than words can say.
