On Friday morning, 7-year-old Aiden was catching the school bus when he was tragically hit by a speeding truck. Thanks to immediate actions of nearby adults and two nurses, his neck was stabilized and CPR was started on the scene.

Within the hour, Aiden was airlifted to Scottish Rite in Atlanta.

Aiden is currently intubated and in a medically induced coma. He has been diagnosed with a Diffuse Axonal Injury (DAI), a severe ligament tear connecting his skull and neck that requires surgery, a broken pelvis and ribs, and a fractured clavicle and wrist. He is a strong little man, and we are all waiting anxiously for him to wake up and return to his energetic self.

While Jodi and Tray refuse to leave Aiden's bedside, the reality of life outside the hospital hasn't stopped. They still need to care for their

13-year-old and 7-month-old children, manage mounting medical and travel expenses in Atlanta, and cover everyday bills while they are out of work.

So many of you have asked how you can help. We set up this page to give Jodi and Tray one less thing to worry about during this nightmare. Every single financial contribution is deeply appreciated, but above all, prayer is desperately needed. Please keep my sister, her family, and Aiden in your prayers as we face this long journey ahead.

For anyone who has kids who love Aiden and wanna support maybe arts and crafts or a handmade card so WHEN he wakes up he can see how love and thought of he is. Aiden loves paw patrol. Tik tok dancing, being rough and tough and alllll the things.

Standing with Aiden and His Family

You may have known him as Jerrelle, Cottin Mouf, Baby, or Tada. He has played a huge part in so many of our lives. He was loved by so many people and will truly be missed. We are still trying to deal with what has happened. Mental illness is something that is not talked about enough. People either feel like they'll be judged or not paid attention to. God is stronger than anything; this is a time we should all be leaning on each other. We are asking our family and friends to please come together and assist with our brother's unexpected passing. God bless you all, and thank you for all of your continued prayers.

In Loving Memory of Jerrelle (Cottin Mouf, Baby, Tada)

On April 2, our lives changed forever… Our son attended a pool party during Spring Break at a friend's apartment complex. An altercation occurred and a group of kids started shooting. Robert was caught in the line of fire as he tried to run from the scene. He endured 3 shots from the back: one to the head, one to the shoulder, and one to the abdomen. He underwent surgery to the head to take a piece of his skull so his brain would swell out and not down to the spine. Robert has had a rollercoaster of events happen since he has been hospitalized. He has a feeding tube and a trach. Currently, he is not responsive in his motor functioning to be a candidate to be sent to a long-term rehabilitation facility. Doctors have said that the probability of him regaining function is slim. They have requested that 3 members of the family quit work to care for him 24 hours of the day.

As hard as the decision has been; the family is looking for a facility that can care for Robert until he starts to show signs that he can go to rehab. Unfortunately, the state of Georgia does not have skilled facilities that care for pediatric patients long term. So the family has been in contact with facilities out of state that can. The cost to medically transport him and pay for a bed in an out-of-state facility can be astronomical. We are asking for love donations that can be applied towards us making this transition for our son. Absolutely nothing is too small. We want to thank you for all the prayers and love that you have been giving us thus far. We ask that you continue to pray for us as we go through this phase in our lives.
