Good day everyone, I am creating this fundraiser to raise £10,000 on behalf of Jamie Jackson’s family during this incredibly difficult and heartbreaking time. Many of you may know that Jamie had been battling acute kidney failure for several years and had been undergoing regular dialysis treatment while waiting for the opportunity to receive a kidney transplant. During this time, he also underwent major heart surgery on three separate occasions. Sadly, whilst recovering from his most recent heart surgery, Jamie contracted sepsis, a really aggressive infection which attacked his heart and other organs which his body was ultimately unable to overcome. Jamie had already been through so much, yet he continued to fight with everything he had. And trust me, he really did put up a fight! He faced so many challenges and overcame obstacles that many would struggle to imagine. We truly believed he would overcome this battle too, but sadly, this time, it was not to be. On 19th October 2026, Jamie took his final breath, leaving behind three children — a beautiful daughter and two handsome boys — as well as his doting mother, loyal sister, and countless friends, brothers, cousins, nieces, nephews and other loved ones whose lives he touched. His passing has left a devastating void in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him. Unfortunately, Jamie passing was sudden and unexpected, and the family now faces the additional emotional and financial burden of arranging his funeral and burial. We were not prepared for this heartbreaking outcome, as jamie had always fought through every obstacle life placed in his path, and we genuinely hoped this time would be no different. Due to his acute kidney failure, Jamie was unable to obtain life insurance, leaving the family without the financial provision they would ordinarily have hoped for to cover these unexpected costs. With heavy hearts, we are reaching out to ask for your kindness and support in helping the family cover the funeral expenses and burial arrangements. Our hope is to ease some of the financial pressure and take away at least one worry from a family already struggling to come to terms with such a devastating loss. Any donation, no matter how big or small, would mean so much to the family. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser with others would also be greatly appreciated. Jamie was a giving person who was always willing to help others whenever he could. He showed kindness and support to those around him, and now we have an opportunity to come together and show that same love and kindness for him and his family. Let us unite to give Jamie the dignified and loving farewell he deserves, whilst supporting the family he leaves behind during one of the most painful times of their lives.
