Alex came into my life when he was just four weeks old. I rescued him from an unlivable situation, and since then, we've formed an unbreakable bond. He's a beautiful Russian Blue, now six years old, and has been by my side through so much. Alex isn't just a pet—he's my companion, my comfort after seizures, and a huge part of how I manage my PTSD. His presence brings me peace and helps me get through the toughest days. Recently, Alex was diagnosed with soft tissue neoplasms, and the only way to save him is to amputate his leg. The news was devastating, and the cost of the surgery is more than I can afford on my own.
