Alahna Schneider

My name is Alahna Schneider. I’m a 22-year-old mom. I have three children, 5, 4, and 1 year old. I moved to Riverside, California, to get away from a domestic violence situation. With doing that, I used all of my savings. I’ve been trying to save as much money as I possibly can. My children and I have been living in a hotel for a little over 6 months, trying to avoid staying in our car. I’m trying to navigate every resource I’m given and still cannot receive any financial assistance or support. With any donation we get, it will help my children have a safe home to go to and a place they can call home, giving them a sense of stability. I want my children to thrive, and myself as well. I’m not the type of person to ask for help; I always try to figure it out, but as a mom, I feel it’s my responsibility or duty to do so as I am my children’s voice. Leaving our hometown to come to Riverside was one of the best decisions I’ve made to make my family safe. Any donations help. My 4-year-old son has autism and was just diagnosed. He also has a G-tube, and I'm the one who has to run his feeds and make sure his ports are okay. With all of this, I’m unable to work as the sole caretaker for my children. With your donations, you will be helping my children get into a safe home, get us away from unsafe situations, and more importantly, help us with a better future!
