Help Eman's Family Find Hope Again

<div>In the heart of Gaza, where people face the difficulties of daily life, the name of Dr. Ramez Abu Madi stands out as a symbol of resilience and hope. Ramez worked as a doctor in a local hospital, where he always sought to provide health care to the people of his community. But with the outbreak of the October 7, 2023 war, the life of Ramez and his family changed radically.

<div>Ramez, his wife, and his four children, aged between 5 and 15 years old, found themselves in a very difficult situation. Their beautiful home, which represented security and stability to them, was a target for bombing. One night, their home was destroyed, resulting in the loss of everything they owned. This destruction was not just a material loss, but had a profound psychological impact on the family.

<div>After the destruction of their home, the family was forced to flee several times from the center of the Strip to the south. Each time they tried to find a new shelter, the challenges increased. They had no choice but to live in a tent, where the most basic necessities of life were lacking. Living conditions were extremely difficult, with water and food scarce and prices unreasonably high. Ramez worked hard to secure his family’s basic needs, but he had difficulty getting enough food and water.

<div>The situation was made worse by the dramatic rise in prices due to the ongoing conflict. Ramez had to choose between buying food or securing medicine for his children. This was a painful choice, as he felt helpless in front of his family’s needs. He watched his children suffer from hunger, and his heart broke at the inability to help them.

<div>Amid these harsh conditions, Ramez and his wife tried to maintain a sense of hope in their family. They talked about a better future , and encouraged their children to study despite the odds. But as time passed, the need to get out of Gaza became more apparent than ever.

<div>To get out of Gaza, Ramez and his family needed more than $60,000, including the $5,000 coordination fee per person, in addition to other travel obligations. This became a major concern for them, as they were struggling to secure this amount under the current circumstances.

<div>Faced with these challenges, Ramez and everyone living in similar circumstances are appealing for support from the international community. They need help to get out of Gaza, to live in safety away from conflict. They dream of a normal life, where their children can learn and grow up in an environment free from fear and poverty. The story of Ramez Abu Madi and his family is just one of many that reflect the suffering of the Palestinian people in times of crisis. They need our support , to help them achieve their dream of peace and security.

It is no secret to you what is happening in Gaza Strip in front of the world. Words I’m about to tell are moments of an ongoing terror me and my family have been experiencing in the post several months. I hope my words explain how much suffer and pain we have been experienced in this ongoing genocide; A war that goes against dreams and ambitions of living a decent life any human being would deserve in this world. 6 years ago, back in 2018, I completed my bachelor degree from the Faculty of Education in the University of Palestine. I had many goals that I wanted to achieve, many targets to meet, and out of a sudden, on the 7th of October 2023, me &amp; my family woke up on the sounds of military aircrafts, and heavy bombings, smell of death was everywhere, And On 13th of Oct 2023, everyone in Gaza including us, specifically in Tel Al-Hawa, got displaced from the north of Gaza strip all the way to Nuseirat refugee camp as stated by the Israeli Army’s “Safe Zone”. I’m not sure how I can describe my feelings as we ran away from death between flying bullets. By a miracle, we reached at Nuseirat Refugee Camp, however, we did not know where to go or stay just as thousands of many others. We were a <strong>family of 7 members</strong>, my parents, four siblings (including triplets), and my daughter.

It is dedicated to raising funds to help provide others with EpiPens (an injection containing epinephrine, a medication that can help decrease your body is allergic reaction). EpiPens expire every year. In 2020, The average United States retail price for a two pack is $669.82, which is the amount of person may pay without Medicare or other prescription drug coverage. The average retail price of a two pack generic EpiPen is $396.41. <br /><br />Many children (as well as adults) are afraid to eat outside of their own home in fear of ingesting something that may put their body into anaphylactic shock. ReeseStrong is here to help ease the financial burden of EpiPens, as well as to create a safe place with knowledge about food allergies. <br /><br />When our daughter passed away May 20th, 2021 from a severe allergic reaction after unknowingly eating a dessert with Walnuts, #ReeseStrong was created by her cheer teammates. In lieu of flowers, we are asking the community to consider a donation to help start this nonprofit in Reese Langer’s honor. </font>

Hello, my name is Tamara Williams.<br /><br />I am 28 years old living in Jamaica. (Mandeville Jamah).<br /><br />I was diagnosed with <strong>Stage 4 Kidney Disease</strong> in December 2019. <br /><br />I have been struggling with my health consciously over a year now. I am unable to sleep for days at times; sometimes going up to 50 hours or more without sleep. 200 hundred steps are impossible for me each day due to shortness of breath. This causes me to be in bed all day at times.<br /><br />Both of my kidneys are atrophic (shrunken) and are unable to filter toxins and fluid from my blood and body, causing fluid retention, (accumulation of excess fluids in my body tissues). Because of this I have a swollen face, wrists and ankles.<br /><br />My kidneys are so damaged that I need a kidney transplant for me to have the privilege to experience better health, and a second chance to experience the feeling of having a pain free life.<br /><br />The major down side to my condition are the physical, emotional, financial and psychological impact it has had on my life.<br /><br />My mission is to <strong>seek funding over $30,000 USD</strong> for my transplant to be possible.
