Help Build Bear a Safe, Warm Home
Bear isn’t just a stray — he’s the gentle, loyal guardian of Camp Caribou in Norway House, Manitoba.
When council said he should be “run off,” the camp manager stood up for him.
The very next day, Bear proved why he belonged:
He chased a black bear out of camp and protected everyone.
He asks for nothing.
He causes no trouble.
He’s sweet, calm, and incredibly well‑behaved.
But Bear sleeps outside in the rain, snow, and cold with no shelter at all.
We’re raising funds to build him a proper, insulated, weather‑proof dog house — something strong enough for brutal northern winters and cool enough for hot summers. A safe place where he can stay dry, warm, and protected.
What your donation will support
Insulated, winter‑rated dog house
Raised floor to keep him dry
Wind‑blocking offset entrance
Durable metal roof
Straw bedding for warmth
Materials and labour for proper northern‑grade build
Bear has earned this.
He deserves this.
And with your help, he’ll finally have a home.
Thank you for helping give Bear the shelter he needs to survive and thrive.
