L'an passé, Canettes de Ruelle a reçu 110 artistes/collectifs qui ont réalisé 92 murales; rien de moins que 1,5 km de ruelles couvertes par ces oeuvres! Cette année, pour fêter en grand, CDR désire offrir 100 murs! </strong>

<div>Canettes de Ruelle (CDR) est un organisme sans but lucratif engagé à promouvoir la liberté artistique et à permettre au grand public de découvrir toute la diversité d'esthétiques et de techniques que renferme l'univers du graffiti et des murales. Notre mission est de transformer les ruelles en un espace de création alliant plaisir de peindre et échanges avec le public, en collaboration avec les résident·e·s du quartier Vieux Rosemont.

Our mission is to transform alleyways into creative spaces that combine the joy of painting with interaction with the public, in collaboration with the residents of the Vieux Rosemont neighbourhood.

<div>For more than 30 years, Under Pressure has been a place where artists, neighbours, friends, and complete strangers have come together to create something bigger than themselves.

<div>Seaz was 22 when he and Flow founded Under Pressure. Now he's 53 and more than a little grey. Under Pressure has survived new constructions, changing governments, and more than a few questionable life choices. But one thing's never changed: community.

<div>This year, we're stripping things back to what matters most.

<div>No gimmicks. No distractions. Just artists creating together, sharing knowledge, building relationships, and showing love to the community that has kept this culture alive for generations.

<div>Under Pressure was never built by corporations. It was built by writers, breakers, DJs, MCs, volunteers, neighbours, and a bunch of delinquents who cared enough about art and each other to keep showing up year after year.

<div>Even a grassroots festival has costs. Permits, equipment, paint, safety materials, rentals, insurance, and all the behind-the-scenes logistics that make it possible for artists to transform blank walls into something meaningful.
