Nicole D’Amato is a domestic violence survivor and single mother who has shown incredible resilience in the face of adversity. After experiencing homelessness and ongoing physical health issues, she has worked tirelessly to rebuild her life. Despite her own challenges, Nicole selflessly helps other women in need by providing them with purses filled with daily living essentials such as toiletries, supplies, food, and donations. Her generosity and compassion have touched many lives in our community. Right now, Nicole is facing a significant financial hardship. Her used mini-van, which she relies on for daily life and to help others, is in dire need of repairs. Without a reliable vehicle, it’s nearly impossible for her to maintain stability and continue her acts of kindness. Nicole did not ask for this fundraiser—she is too humble to reach out for help herself. That’s why I decided to take the initiative and surprise her with this GoFundMe campaign. All funds raised will go directly to the car repair facility to ensure Nicole’s mini-van is fixed and she can regain her independence. If we are fortunate enough to receive donations beyond the repair costs, the extra support will help Nicole cover monthly bills, food, and clothing for herself and her son.
