I lost my mom about a year and a half ago, and since then, I've been caring for my father who has Multiple Sclerosis. For the first year, I managed to keep up with the bills—paying rent, utilities, groceries, and making sure my dad got to his doctor visits. I work full time while also being his primary caregiver, and while I’ve done my best to stay on top of everything, the rising cost of living and being the only steady income has made things really tough.
My biggest challenge right now is keeping up with rent. If I could get ahead on a few months, it would give me the breathing room I need to rebuild my savings and feel more secure. That way, I can keep focusing on my dad’s care and our well-being, instead of constantly worrying about making ends meet.
It takes a lot for me to ask for help, but I want to thank anyone who is kind enough to support us. I’ve always been independent, especially after losing my mom, but right now I just want to make sure my dad and I can enjoy life without the weight of financial stress—at least for a little while, until I can get us back on our feet again. Your support means the world to us.
