My name is Brian, and I’m reaching out during one of the most challenging times of my life. After my mother passed away, I became responsible for caring for my mentally disabled sister. Not long after, I had to undergo emergency back surgery for cauda equina syndrome. Since then, I’ve been living with daily pain, numbness in my lower left side, and difficulty walking. I’ve tried to apply for disability, but the process has been full of setbacks and delays, leaving me without the support I need.
As a result, I’ve fallen behind on rent and bills, and the stress of trying to keep up has been overwhelming. Every day, I do my best to provide for my family and make sure my daughter and sister have what they need. But right now, I’m facing more than I can handle alone. The funds from this fundraiser will go directly toward catching up on debt and bills, getting a new cane to help me walk, buying clothes for my daughter, and making much-needed repairs around our home. These are basic needs that will make a real difference in our daily lives.
I appreciate any and all support, whether it’s a donation or simply taking the time to read my story. I’m a father just trying to do what’s right for his family, and I truly believe that community is the answer. People working together is how every amazing creation was made, and we can all make a difference if we want to. Thank you for being here and for caring, no matter what you’re able to give.
