Bri Bowman, my friend's daughter, is facing a critical moment in her life. Brianna was diagnosed with Scoliosis, and she has two curves in her back, both over 50 degrees. Her surgeon explained that surgery is urgent because her spine will continue to curve 1-2 degrees per month if we wait. The surgery is scheduled for Monday, 4/6 at 8am, and Bri will be in the hospital for a few days. Afterward, she will be down for 4-6 weeks, with a full recovery expected in about three months. To help her continue her education, Bri has been enrolled in the Home Bound program and will finish the rest of her Sophomore year at home. All of the funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward hospital bills and the equipment Bri will need for her recovery. Medical expenses and the costs of specialized equipment can add up quickly, and having the right support and resources at home will make a big difference in her healing process. By coming together, we can help ease some of the financial burden and allow Bri’s family to focus on what matters most—her health and recovery. I would really love for us to come together and show Bri and her family some love, support, and encouragement during this time. I was hoping we could bless them with a gift card from all of us to help with meals and make things just a little easier on their family while they focus on Bri’s healing. Of course, there is absolutely no pressure at all! Any amount of love and support is deeply appreciated. Most of all, let’s keep Bri and her family in our thoughts and prayers.
