Established in 2013, at Banríon Gaels we still consider ourselves a new Club! Being new and coupled with trying to grow and develop the Club fundraising is an ongoing challenge to pay for new equipment, jerseys and rental of grounds for training etc. To help us a number of very fit and fabulous men (mostly Dad's of our girls!) have decided to take on the K2K challenge....that is to cycle from Kilkenny to Killenard on Saturday April 8, 2017! We are so very grateful to these guys for taking on this challenge and all donations will be very very greatly appreciated. Thank you The Banríon Gaels Committee!

Kilkenny 2 Killenard (K2K) Challenge

Once again the time come - 12 very proud parents and friends of Banríon Gaels players will cast aside all inhibitions, dress in their best Lycra and cycle like mad - as mad as they can for 70 long and laborious kms :-)  The time has come for Banríon Gaels Camogie Clubs annual K2K challenge!  While we all know the real sacrifice is from the amazing girls on the pitch with a helmet, face-guard and hurl chasing the small ball and never giving up - but to be fair the Dads are good enough to do their fundraising bit!!!  All donations VERY gratefully accepted.
