Maxxing out at 12HH I sometimes feel like Atlas fighting a pair of<em> </em><strong><em>shoulder boulder</em>s</strong> uphill throughout the day. (Yes, I also have shoulder, neck and back pain.) My binders are doing their very best but uphill battle really is the right phrasing; these <strong><em>meandering melons</em></strong><em> </em>won't be concealed, repressed or ignored. I must battle them, medically. ⚔

<div>I've found the surgeon I want to go with (Yay!! ) so here's a rough break down of the costs I've been told to expect.

<div>Surgeon: $8,000 - $10,000

<div>Anaesthetist: $2,500

<div>Hospital stay for 1 night: $5,000 - $6,000

<div>In the event I need to stay for an extra day I've been told this is another $5,000 - $6,000

<div>Additional to these will be my care post surgery, including accessible meals &amp; support items to recover from my first ever major surgery with minimal risk. I already have chronic pain and a myriad of other conditions, so im doing my best to plan ahead thoughtfully. I'm currently also organising a report from my cardiologist at the request of my surgeon, as I have POTS &amp; hypermobility so my anaesthetist will need extra information to proceed safely.

While diagnostic testing is ongoing, it is suspected Coblie has a herniated spinal disk or meningitis. Colbie is scheduled for multiple procedures including a spinal tap and CT scan. Currently, the costs of Coblie’s procedures and admission will be approx. $10,000, requiring an immediate deposit of $3,000.

I’ve wanted this surgery for a while now and I’m really excited to experience the joy and mental ease post surgery. Those who know me know that I’ve been wanting a flat chest for a long time and although I’ve tried to accept my *boobies* I feel like they don’t belong to me, so I’m so very excited to achieve my dream!

I understand that there are awful things happening in the world right now and I don’t intend to deflect from the bigger issues there. The funds would be going towards my double incision top surgery with nipple grafts, related hospital costs and the recovery period of 6-8 weeks where I’ll be unable to work (for rent, groceries, bills etc). Kit's Top Surgery

Dealing with the loss of a friend or a family member is never an easy task. Dealing with the loss in a time of lockdowns and financial uncertainty is made even harder.<br /><br />Stewart Leaf was an impassioned member of the communities he lived in. From the years of running his own Karate classes in New Zealand, to the teams and seasons of Rugby League that he coached in the Blue Mountains, Stewart was a man who thrived on communal activity.
