I recently moved to Oldham County after leaving sober living, hoping for a fresh start. Right now, I’m staying with a friend, but she has to move out by April 30th, which means I need to find my own place soon. I’m working as a server at Cracker Barrel and picking up as many shifts as I can to save up, but it’s tough to get ahead quickly enough. I’m originally from Louisville, but I’m determined not to go back to old people, places, and things that could set me back. If God sees it fit i would like a two bedroom so my kids can come stay with me but a one bedroom will do. The funds from this fundraiser will help me cover a security deposit and furnish a new apartment, so I can have a safe and stable place to call home. Having a space of my own will make a huge difference as I continue building a better life for myself.
