Out of 531 of teams across Michigan, Botmasterz has earned a spot at the highly competitive state championship, an achievement that places us among the top robotics teams in the state. Botmasterz began with three girls who wanted to belong. In spaces where girls often feel overlooked, they imagined something different: a team where girls felt confident speaking up, taking risks, and leading. What started as a small idea has grown into a team of 13 strong, where every member builds, leads, and lifts others up. On our team, girls don’t just participate in STEM; they discover their voices, their confidence, and their future. Now, we have the chance to take everything we’ve built to the state championship, but we can’t do it alone. With only a few weeks to prepare, we are working to raise funds to cover: - $4,000 state championship registration - Accommodations for our team - Critical robot repairs and improvements - Materials to continue sharing our mission This is a chance to prove, to ourselves and to others, that girls belong in STEM, that our voices matter, and that we are capable of building something extraordinary.
