<div>Lilly is a beautiful 23-year-old who loves Elmo, smiling, Santa Claus, mini M&amp;M's, Coke, popcorn, and pizza. She's the little sister of Lane and Brady, and she loves her nieces and nephew. Lilly is also an actress, with screentime and lines in the indie film she starred alongside her brother Brady and dad, The Rider. She ADORES her mom, her very best friend. Lilly doesn't let the spectrum define her, but rather rides that rainbow all the way to the stars of the beautiful rural South Dakota night sky!

<div>On Friay, March 14yj, Lilly was rushed to the ER where she had a a seizure. After days of grueling tests and failed treatments, <strong>Lilly was finally diagnosed with viral encephalitis</strong> - an inflammation of the brain caused by a viral infection. On Wednesday, doctors determined Lilly will need to be transferred by Medevac to a larger hospital in Denver, 7 hours from home, more suitable to address her fragile medical needs.

<div>So while Lilly's body might be weak in these moments, SHE definitely is not.

Love for Lilly; fighting Encephalitis in Denver

<div>Residing in a remote area in the upper regions of the Himalayas, Manjushree Yidyapith is a school and home committed to supporting over 300 Himalayan children from primary school age to graduation. Most of the children we support are destitute, orphaned or ably diﬀerent; our school's support offers them a fresh sort of hope.

<div>Unfortunately, the dated books at the school cannot provide our students with the knowledge needed to compete for university entry. With an emphasis on equal educational opportunities for each child, we are launching this project to provide a laptop for our senior pupils, which will open up a whole new world of learning, available to them at their ﬁngertips.

<div>Technology for Teens aims to have a Laptop Drive every year so that each pupil will be oﬀered a chance to take their laptop to college once they graduate from Year 12; it's their passport to the global community.

<div>FMVSO is a registered UK Charity which has been operating since 2006. So far, it has sponsored the school with a small network of funders to allow the school to remain open and support those wonderful children who also deserve a chance to learn and have a place to call home.

Technology For Teens

Many in our community know and love Robert Rutan who has served selflessly at the SPH Longterm Facility for 8 years. Robert was diagnosed with MS a few years ago and continued working up until about a year ago when the progression of his disease forced him to have to quit his job he loved so much. His mother moved up here a few months ago to help care for him and on March 13th, while they were away, Robert’s home caught on fire and burned beyond repair. Sadly, they also lost their beloved dog in the fire. Currently, they are living in a hotel but are really needing the community to come together and help them out in this difficult time. They will need to find another place to live as well as replace furniture and clothing and other necessities. Please donate to help them out-no amount is too small.

Medical and House Fire

I am starting this fund for my friends, Sabrina Lea Grotefend and Chris Long, who are trying to cope with losing their home in a fire out on the North Fork in Anchor Point. They lost all of their day to day belongings, keep sakes as well as some of their beloved animals in a fire last week. The community has already started to band together and help them get set up with the basics of what they need to rebuild their lives. <br />((I LOVE THIS COMMUNITY!!))<br /><br />The funds would be used for getting them back on their feet, and to buy materials to finish the cabin they are building to make it livable. <br />With help from our great community, and a few months of work, they can be living on their own property again.<br />Thank you all so much!

Sabrina and Chris' fire relief

<div>On Wednesday evening December 3, 2025, Blaise Augustine Banks, 19, the youngest child of Sharon Roufa and Dale Banks, was in a head-on collision caused by a reckless driver near Pullman Washington, where Blaise is attending college at Washington State University (WSU) as an honors student. Blaise was airflighted in critical condition to Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane. Blaise has had multiple operations and is being closely monitored, but has suffered broken bones and a traumatic brain injury that will require long term rehabilitation.

<div>Many of you know Blaise who grew up in Homer; a gifted academic, hockey goalie and softball athlete, volunteer and a truly unique and inspiring person. Over the past year and a half, Blaise has been an active member of the WSU community, serving as the President of the Crimson Robotics Club.

<div>We are raising funds to help Dale and Sharon and family stay in Washington for the extended recovery. Let’s show all of them the love of our community and friends everywhere.
