Since purchasing our home in 2012, we inherited a feral cat colony of over forty cats. We built heated houses, provided bedding, fed them high-quality food with supplements, and began trapping, spaying/neutering, chipping, releasing, and ongoing care. We love the cats like they are our children and feel their loss deeply. Three cats live inside with us, and we have permission from both the HOA and Multnomah County to operate our semi-closed inner-city cat sanctuary. As vulnerable senior citizens with permanent disabilities, we now need financial help to maintain the sanctuary and continue providing care for the cats.
All donations will go towards food, medical care, shelter maintenance, and improvements as needed. There are many feral cat colonies in the city, but we care for the one the universe placed at our home. Our female alpha cat often finds and welcomes abandoned or stray cats, becoming a second mom to them. We love her for all she does to help our mission. Your support will help us continue caring for these vulnerable animals and keep our sanctuary running.
