Jennifer Smith is a dear friend and coworker who is truly in need of help during a very difficult season of life. Jennifer has been a hardworking and dependable person for many years, always willing to step in and help others whenever needed, often putting others before herself. Recently, due to financial stress, Jennifer had to move out of state away from many of her friends and family in order to try to make ends meet and start over. Over the past year, Jennifer has also been facing ongoing medical issues that require frequent doctor visits and continued treatment. In recent months, she has had multiple emergency care visits and hospital stays lasting several days at a time. While doctors have been able to manage some of her symptoms, they are still working to determine the underlying cause of her condition and the best long-term treatment plan. Unfortunately, her overall condition continues to progress. Because of mounting medical expenses and missed time at work, Jennifer is struggling to keep up with rent, bills, and basic daily necessities. We are asking anyone who feels led to help to consider donating any amount possible to help Jennifer regain some stability in her living situation so she can continue receiving treatment, focus on healing, and have a safe place to rest and recover. Jennifer is a person of faith and has been turning back to God during this difficult time. Let us come together to show how God works through His people to help those in need and to be the hands and feet of Jesus as we are called to do. I did ask Jennifer for permission to create this fundraiser. While she agreed, this was not her idea, and she is still doing everything she can to try to support herself financially, even selling personal belongings just to get by. If you are willing and able to help someone in need, please consider donating whatever amount is placed on your heart.
