Meet beautiful little Storri Grace, just 2 months old. Storri entered the world on August 31st, 2025 at 3 a.m., weighing 7 lbs 15 oz and measuring 19.5 inches long. She was the perfect little blessing for her parents, Chance and Shelley, who fell in love with each other from the moment they met—and soon after, brought this precious girl into all of our lives. But as quickly as their joy arrived, worry began to take its place. From the beginning, Storri has struggled with severe GI issues. After multiple GI specialists, repeated trips to Akron Children’s, and countless sleepless nights, her parents keep being told “nothing is wrong.” Yet something is wrong. Storri is visibly uncomfortable. She cries in pain, struggles to pass stool, deals with constant vomiting, and has had persistent watery stools ever since her swallow study. Then, on November 23rd, everything changed. During a vomiting episode, Storri suddenly became unresponsive. Their world stopped. She was rushed to the local ER and then transported to Akron Children’s, the same hospital that had repeatedly dismissed their concerns. This time, tests finally showed alarming results: • White blood cell count: 28,000 • Potassium: 6.5 (dangerously high) • Multiple ultrasounds and tests have been done, but no clear answers yet. The hospital witnessed one of her unresponsive episodes firsthand. At last, they agreed to admit her for further observation and testing. Chance and Shelley were told that Storri will need to stay for at least several days. And now, on top of fear and uncertainty, life doesn’t pause. With the holidays approaching and bills due on December 1st, the financial strain is becoming overwhelming. Chance works long, hard hours so Shelley can stay home with the children—but with Storri in the hospital, he can’t work. Meanwhile, they still have two little ones at home—Asher and Barrett—who also need care, food, and stability. This family needs help. Whether it’s a meal, a donation toward bills, or simply sharing their story, anything you can give will ease the crushing weight on their shoulders during this heartbreaking time. While they fight for answers for baby Storri, the last thing they should fear is losing their home or falling behind. Thank you for reading, praying, and supporting in any way you can. Please keep sweet Storri Grace in your thoughts and prayers. We love you, little one.
