Hello everyone, My name is Shain, and I am reaching out to you today as a single father with one ultimate goal: to provide a safe, stable, and permanent home for my eleven-year-old son, Jaylen. Since 2020, it has been just the two of us taking on the world together. Being a solo parent is the most rewarding job I will ever have, but it also means that when life throws unexpected challenges our way, there isn’t a second income or a safety net to catch us. Right now, we have hit a difficult stretch, and we are currently working hard to overcome a transition period and get into a place of our own. Jaylen is my absolute world. He is a bright, resilient, and amazing kid who deserves a stable environment where he can focus on just being a kid, doing his homework, and growing up without the stress of housing insecurity. As his dad, it breaks my heart not to have all the answers right now, but I am committed to doing whatever it takes to build the foundation we need.
