We started a grassroots food drive, called GOGO Food Drive (Give or Get Operation). We have people text us if they can give, or if they are in need, and we go out, pickup the donations, sort, and deliver them to people who need it. For now it's the Johnstown PA area and we are doing this because SNAP benefits are on hold for now, which affects more than 20% of this community. I'm literally begging for help. The requests for help are more than I could have ever imagined. The donations will go 100% to purchase non perishable foods to distribute to my community. I will be transparent and show all of our purchases made from the donations.
