We are a young family who has been living in Germany for several years. Our little daughter is the most important thing in our lives, and every day we do everything we can to make sure she lacks nothing. For her, we always want the best — and that is exactly why we want to make our lives financially more stable and less stressful. Like many people here in Germany, we also have debts that have grown over time. In an attempt to organize everything, we tried taking out a loan. Unfortunately, instead of relieving us, it became an even greater burden. The monthly installments turned into an additional financial strain. Our income is enough to cover basic necessities, but a large portion goes directly toward paying off debts every month. In the end, only a small amount remains to get through the rest of the month. This is not always easy — especially with a small child. We are not wishing for anything extravagant or luxury items. Our goal is simple: a debt-free fresh start, so that we can breathe freely again as a family — without constant fear of new bills and without the feeling of always falling behind. Our current debts amount to approximately €25,000. We work hard and do our very best, but managing this on our own has become extremely difficult, as new expenses keep arising.
