<div>I am in a fight for my life and I need some help.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>After battling melanoma in various stages (starting at age 26), it has now progressed to stage 4 metastatic melanoma.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I am the poster child for why we need MEDICARE FOR ALL! I'll tell my story below. Please share it for me and help if you're able. I am grateful for the help, though I wish it wasn't necessary for me to even ask. Thank you.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>In 2008, I noticed a mole on my abdomen began to grow and change. It reached the size of about a quarter, so I went to my dermatologist who decided to do a punch biopsy on it. It came back positive for melanoma, so I had wide excision surgery. A surgical oncologist removed the mole and the surrounding skin all the way down to my abdominal wall. Unfortunately, when the pathology came back, it showed that the margins weren't clear so I had a second surgery to take even more skin, leaving me with a scar about 6 inches long on my lower left abdomen. I was grateful to have it gone, so the scar didn't bother me. I was diagnosed with stage 1b melanoma and given a 15% chance it would ever return or progress.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Flash forward to 2017 (NINE years later). At this point, I was a 35-year-old mom to a 2-year-old boy and 5-year-old girl. One Saturday afternoon, I was making sandwiches for the kids and leaned against the counter. Something hurt in my lower left groin, so I went into the bathroom to feel around and see what I could find. I noticed that there was a large, hard spot in the crease of my leg, so I went to urgent care to have it looked at. The doctor at urgent care said that she believed it to be a lymph node that was angry for some reason, but that the reason was likely an infection or any other number of benign things. However, given my history with melanoma, she referred me to have a fine needle aspiration biopsy the following week just to make sure.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>When I went in for the fine needle aspiration, the doctor removed a piece of the lymph node to be tested. He told me that the tissue was pink, which to him looked healthy. He said typically in cases of melanoma that has metastasized, the tissue can look black, so he wasn't altogether worried. And neither was I.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>The results, however, came back and hit me like a ton of bricks. Positive for melanoma. Because it had metastasized, but was still local to my original mole (lower left abdomen and groin), it automatically meant I progressed to stage 3a. I was referred to a surgical oncologist and scheduled for Lymph Node Dissection surgery. They removed several of the lymph nodes in the area that looked diseased and allowed me to keep some of the healthy looking ones due to the risk of lymphedema in my left leg (important because I was so young and active). Three of the removed nodes came back positive for melanoma.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>After surgery, I was referred to a medical oncologist to complete adjuvant therapy in hopes that we could prevent recurrence in the future. The summer of 2017 was brutal. The plan was for me to take 4 infusions of an immunotherapy drug called Yervoy, spaced 3 weeks apart. The infusions (and the benefits) stacked each time, so after my third infusion, I had reached peak level toxicity and the side effects were brutal. I couldn’t eat anything. I couldn’t even drink water. I lost 40 lbs. in the matter of about 4 weeks. I spent a week in the hospital. They couldn’t figure out what was wrong at first, but eventually they sent a scope down my throat and discovered that the drug had damaged my stomach lining to the point that I was bleeding internally. They spent the rest of the week trying to help me begin the healing process, but it was about 3 months before I felt back to “normal”.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Because the toxicity from the Yervoy nearly killed me, my doctor said that I couldn’t take the 4th infusion because he was afraid of what would come next. He also said that my strong reaction could mean that I had total immune response to the drug and that might mean it worked well. So, he took me off immunotherapy and I spent 3 months off of medication in August. After 3 months, he gave me a full body PET scan again and it came back CLEAR! I was ecstatic, feeling like I could put this awful chapter behind me. Little did I know, it would only be a matter of months before the nightmare started again.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>In May 2018, I felt another hard spot in my lower left groin. I knew what that likely meant so I got in touch with my oncologist who put a rush on another biopsy. Turns out, it was melanoma again (still localized to the lower left groin/abdomen). My surgical oncologist removed a few more lymph nodes during surgery and two of them came back positive for melanoma. This meant I was moving from Stage 3a to 3b because of the number of infected lymph nodes.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>In August 2018, I did 4 weeks of daily radiation focused on the lower left abdomen and groin in hopes it would kill anything that was still in transit or lingering. On September 1, I started taking an oral immunotherapy drug combination - Tafinlar and Mekinist. I was able to take this drug for nearly a year before the toxicity caught up to me. My oncologist took me off the medicine and went back to maintenance PET scans every 3 or 4 months to make sure nothing was popping back up. Eventually I was able to space these scans out to 6 months and then a year. For nearly 6 years, I lived in a world where I had beaten cancer. Unfortunately, melanoma wasn’t done with me yet.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>In April 2025, I started to have severe pain in my lower right back and hip. I was 43 at this point, so I figured I was aging and that perhaps it was sciatic pain. It would come and go, so I didn’t think to see a doctor until a few weeks later when the pain worsened, spread to my right shoulder, and was constant. I went to urgent care and they did x-rays of my shoulder and hip. The doctor came back and told me that he didn’t see anything significant, no injury or anything, and sent me home with instructions to treat with acetaminophen and another anti-inflammatory.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>About an hour after I returned home, a nurse called me from the urgent care department and told me that another physician had taken a look at my x-rays and that he saw something on the periphery in what appeared to be my lung. Given my cancer history, he recommended that I get an x-ray of my chest facing forward. So… I did and I was unprepared for what came next. My x-ray showed a 7 cm mass in my right lung. I was then immediately referred for a CT to confirm this and to see my oncologist.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>As I waited for these appointments, the pain grew exponentially worse. One day, I came home from school and collapsed on the couch. I was in so much pain, I couldn’t stand it. I called my oncologist and he told me to go to the Emergency Room immediately so that I could at least get some relief. So, my husband took me to the ER. The ER admitted me to the hospital and they got my pain under control.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>While I was in the hospital, my oncologist sent orders for a variety of scans (CT, PET, brain MRI). It was discovered that I have a tumors in my brain, my lower lumbar spine, my scapula, my left ovary, my lung, my liver, one kidney, in my right hip bone/femur, and in my right jawbone. Stage 4 metastatic melanoma had finally caught up to me. After receiving this devastating news, I was discharged from the hospital after a week and sent home to wait for the next steps.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Unfortunately, I was back in the hospital a day later (for another week long stay) because my insurance was refusing to pay for the oxycodone the hospital prescribed upon discharge.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>When I returned to the hospital via ambulance, it took them 3 doses of dilaudid and 2 doses of morphine just to get my pain under control. When I was eventually successfully discharged it was with high dose fentanyl patches just so I could function and not be writhing in pain.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I spent this entire summer at home regaining strength and beginning my targeted medications (Braftovi and Mektovi) that hopefully will give me a better quality and prolonging of life. I haven’t had my first scans after beginning my medicine, but I am hopeful that they are working. My children are 11 and (nearly) 14 now and my goal is to live my life to the fullest and be here to see all of their accomplishments and milestones.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I don’t know what is next for me, but I hope it is a full life. No matter what, I don’t want my illness to be the reason my family suffers. Battling cancer for the last 17 years has bankrupted us and the costs just keep rising. One test (Signatera) that helps my doctor keep track of my tumor load and how well my treatment is working cost almost $22,000. Insurance would only cover $3,000 so I am left with a bill for just over $19,000.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I would be so grateful if you could pass this on to anyone that might be able to help. Thank you for reading this long story. It means a lot to me that people continue to fight for better healthcare for Americans. Especially now as we fight this current anti-science administration and see a reduction or loss of cancer research funds.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Humbly, thank you.

Help a Mom, Wife, Teacher Battle Stage 4 Metastatic Melanoma

<div>I’m creating this fundraiser during one of the hardest seasons of my life. A few months ago, I was illegally terminated from the UCLA DEI Office for speaking my mind about Charlie Kirk.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Since then I have been implicitly blacklisted throughout the higher education industry, the field in which I've spent my career.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Even with my background from top-UVA School of Law and my experience as in-house counsel at Harvard University, I’ve been applying for jobs every day and facing immediate rejection after rejection.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It has been disorienting and deeply painful to work so hard for a career and then suddenly struggle just to meet basic daily needs.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Right now, I’m asking for help covering essential living expenses for the month of September, like rent, bills, groceries, transportation, and caring for my pets while I continue searching for work.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This support will give me the stability to keep a roof over our heads, keep myself and my pets healthy, and make it through this period without falling further behind.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your donations will also help me continue my activism, working to free I.C.E. abductees and reunite families, without the constant fear of how I will pay for basic necessities.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The fight for justice takes a village. Community is the greatest threat to the fascism we are seeing implemented throughout our nation.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If the immigrants kidnapped by I.C.E. have to rely on the kindness of strangers, then I will too.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you are able to give, share, or simply stand with me, your support would mean more than I can express.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for helping me stay housed, healthy, and able to keep fighting for others during this difficult time.
</div>

Waiting for Justice ⚖️

<div>My name is Michael Fanone. On January 6th, 2021, I put my life on the line defending the Capitol from an armed mob.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to speaking out against the growing threats to our democracy, authoritarianism, and political violence.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Those threats are no longer abstract. President Trump has already sent National Guard troops into Los Angeles and Washington, DC—a dangerous escalation that puts communities directly in the crosshairs of authoritarian control.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>And now, he’s preparing to send them into more cities like Chicago and Baltimore.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>At the same time, political violence in America is on the rise. <strong>It’s more important than ever that survivors of that violence—like myself—can reach people where they live, before it’s too late.</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>My voice only matters if I can be there in person: standing with people, listening to them, and reminding them that they are not alone.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>But here’s the truth: many of the communities that most need to hear my message cannot afford the cost of bringing me there.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>That’s why I’m asking for your help.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>This fund will make it possible. With your support, <strong>I will travel to places like Chicago and beyond—to meet people on the ground and confront these threats together.</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Your contributions will cover expenses like travel, lodging, and the security necessary to keep me safe while on the road.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>This isn’t about politics. It’s about showing up. Together, we can remind people across this country that democracy is worth fighting for.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Your donation ensures I can continue this work independently, reaching communities who would otherwise never hear my story or this message in person.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I’ve never backed down from a fight for our country—and I don’t intend to now.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>How You Can Help:

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>• Donate whatever you can. Every contribution makes it possible for me to travel to the next city.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>• Share this campaign with friends, family, and on social media.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>• Stand with me in ensuring our democracy is defended where it matters most: on the ground, face to face, with the people living through it.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Thank you for helping me meet this moment.

<p><b><i>Update: </i></b>I cannot comprehend how this can possibly happen, but a few prior donors are mistaking Bert's GoFundMe with a recent GoFundMe that has been on the news and deactivated for an 81-year-old man from TEXAS named (DON JOHNSON) who works for a luggage company. Apparently, there was some fabrication made to that man's story and all his donors were refunded. Please note, these are very two different men and GFM's. I assume some people are getting confused because of close age range (which is 5 years apart) and not doing the proper research.
</p><br />
<p><b><i>Bert has been on Wink News, Cape Coral Breeze newspaper, Rapper Flavor Flav Bluesky platform and Celebrity Jack Osbourne covered Bert's story on his YouTube live.</i></b>
</p><br />
<p>Bert, an 86 year old Navy Veteran who served his country and beat lung cancer, has been employed by Uber Eats Since April of 2025 to help pay for his wife's medical care. Committing to working 5 days a week for 7 to 8 hours each day so he can also pay monthly living expenses which have increased due to inflation and a staggering amount of credit card debt obtained from medical care for his wife Rae who is now dealing with the beginning stages of Dementia. Bert has now been forced to adjust his work schedule to X3 days per week because of the increased gas prices, which have made it difficult for him to afford fuel for his commute. The little money he made in tips has now been cut in half at no fault of his own. Bert has sent his resume out numerous times with no call backs. Unfortunately, his age is against him.
</p><br />
<p>Bert has two problematic hips which make his mobility a problem most of the time and has also undergone surgery to remove half of a lung due to cancer. His 81 year old wife Rae accompanies him to work as she also struggles with balance issues and requires constant supervision to prevent any potential falls or injuries.
</p><br />
<p>He is currently overwhelmed with various responsibilities and is facing significant financial concerns on top of everything. Regrettably, Bert has sustained injuries while making deliveries and climbing stairs.
</p>
<p>One incident resulted in two black eyes and a very large contusion on his forehead as seen in the picture above. After suffering these injuries, I decided to create a fundraiser so Bert can end his Uber Eats ordeal.
</p><br />
<p>Google his name and you will find multiple articles and a news link written about Bert.
</p><br />
<p>I have initiated a fundraiser to support Bert in achieving the quality of life and dignity he deserves and to alleviate the financial burden of paying off a mortgage on his modest condo, managing maxed-out credit cards from medical expenses for Rae, and covering exorbitant monthly medication costs for himself and his wife. Some of the medications are essential for his wife's well-being. Please help spread the word as he is in need of support. Thank you for sharing.
</p><br />
<p>All funds raised will be used to pay off outstanding credit card debt from medical care for his wife. It would give Bert tremendous financial relief to pay off these cards and the interest accrued after so many years. Bert can really use more time caring for himself and his wife and less worry about how the next bill is gonna be paid. If Bert's story has touched you and you wish to support this Navy Veteran, please consider donating or sharing his story to reach more individuals who may want to make a difference and provide Bert with a second chance at retirement. ❤️

<div>Minneapolis is under siege. Our fellow Americans are afraid to go out, immigrants are shut in, afraid their children will be taken. And as our fellow citizens protest that, they are being gassed, shot, and murdered.
</div>
<div>They need our help. Our immigrant neighbors need diapers, formula, wipes, food, kids activities, and hygiene items.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>protesters need saline for eye wash, first aid kits, goggles, and other safety equipment.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>we will raise funds for the next 6 days and will travel to Minneapolis Friday evening January 30th 2026 with everything donated and collected.

Essential Aid for Minneapolis Families and Protesters

<div>Posting on behalf of my friend:

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>On Friday, 1/9, hundreds protesters gathered outside of the federal building in Santa Ana, CA to protest the ICE killing of Renee Good.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>During the protest, federal agents came out and attacked the protesters, arresting one and shooting another.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>K, a young protester, was shot in the eye at point-blank range by a federal agent.</strong> It is unclear what he was shot with. He was then denied medical care by the Feds and dragged into the federal building.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Luckily, K survived but is now in the hospital and needs surgery on their eye and needs assistance with medical bills. Any and all funds donated will be deposited into their bank account and go towards their medical expenses.

</div>

<div>Wausau Pilot &amp; Review is a nonprofit, independent, online news outlet serving central Wisconsin with a small team of award-winning reporters. A lawsuit is threatening to silence and shutter the organization.
</div>
<div>The Pilot launched in 2017, when larger outlets were scaling back their coverage in a big way. Since then, the newspaper has become Wausau's primary source for hard-hitting local news - coverage that has earned more than a dozen state and national awards.
</div>
<div>In 2021, the newspaper reported on a contentious meeting that centered on a county-wide diversity initiative. That story led to a lawsuit by Cory Tomczyk, who is now a Wisconsin state senator. Though a judge dismissed the case, Tomczyk is now appealing, and the legal expenses are already well into the six figures. This fundraiser will help pay those legal expenses and keep local reporters working.

<div>Why is local news so important? The American Journalism Project puts it this way: Local news is our most trusted source for information about the world around us. It provides a shared understanding of what’s happening in our city halls, schools, and businesses.
</div>
<div>Local news connects us to our community and to our neighbors. It uplifts voices that would otherwise go unheard. It demands accountability of community, business, and governmental bodies. It forces decision-making structures to operate within the public’s view.

<div>Tonight, my mother, Emine Emanet, is finally home. After 15 painful days in detention, she has been released and reunited with our family. These past days have been some of the hardest we’ve ever faced, but the kindness of our community has helped us stay strong. To everyone who has donated, prayed, or sent words of encouragement—thank you. Your support has meant everything to us.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On February 25, ICE agents came to our family restaurant, Jersey Kebab, and took both of my parents, Celal and Emine, without warning or a warrant. For years, they have been waiting on a decision from immigration services, doing everything right while building a life here. Our restaurant isn’t just a business—it’s a second home, a place where my parents welcome everyone, no matter their situation. They work from morning until night, serving food and kindness to anyone who walks through the door.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>When the original fund was started, we had no clue it would reach so many people and would touch so many hearts. Thank you for being a part of our family, and thank you for donating to keep our family going.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>When mom was taken away to Elizabeth Detention Center, Jersey Kebab closed because without her, the restaurant (and our family) cannot function. Our mom returned home on Wednesday, March 12 on bail and several members of our family are being placed into further legal proceedings. Not only has this helped our family financially, this fundraiser was submitted as evidence to the judge that the Emanet family is supported by the local community. That being said, we are working to open up Jersey Kebab as soon as possible and get back to work.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>While this original fundraiser is closed, we decided to create a new campaign fundraiser entitled the Emanet Trust. This experience has been hard on our family but with your help, we can make it easier for others. All donations collected through the Emanet Trust will be sent towards the local community who have supported us as well as immigrants, refugees, and organizations making the path forward possible.
</div>

The Emanet Trust

<div><strong>UPDATE</strong> 3/12/25: Emine Emanet has been released from the ICE detention center tonight, after 10 days of detention, and is reunited with her family! Thank you to everyone for your donations, prayers &amp; kind words. While the family still has a long fight ahead of them, your support has lifted them up.❤️
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I’ve been asked by the Emanet family to set up a GoFundMe to help cover legal fees and support income while Jersey Kebab remains closed.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>During the morning hours of Tuesday, February 25, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) warrantlessly picked up members of the Emanet family, Celal and Emine Emanet, from Jersey Kebab, located at 150 Haddon Avenue, Haddon Township, NJ 08108.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The Emanet family has an open case with United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and has been waiting since 2016 for a decision on their case. USCIS has not decided whether to approve or deny their green card application for the past 9 years. While waiting for their case to be decided upon, Celal and Emine Emanet were left without a status.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>They are contributing members of society and taxpayers with a five-year valid business license. Celal and Emine own and operate Jersey Kebab, a beloved Mediterranean restaurant across from the Haddon Township Municipality and Police building. The husband-and-wife pair own and manage the restaurant together, a hub for the community, and regularly feed underprivileged members of the community - the sign on the door stating, “Free to anyone with a disability, homeless, or simply cannot afford it.” The couple start prep work together at 9 am and close up shop at 8:30 pm.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At the end of the night, Celal and Emine come back home where they live with their four children (Muhammed, Zeynep, Hamza, Hale), daughter-in-law (Sabina), two grandchildren (Ali and Omer), and two cats (Oreo and Almond). Muhammed (25), the manager at Jersey Kebab, who attended Rutgers-Camden, is a husband and father to two children. Zeynep (23) is a Swarthmore College graduate and works at a local civil rights nonprofit organization. Their younger son, Hamza (15), and younger daughter, Hale (13), cannot imagine life without mom and dad together.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>While Celal has been released from custody with an ankle monitor, Emine has been placed into the Elizabeth Detention Center in Elizabeth, New Jersey, awaiting her bond trial. This situation is especially devastating for their 15-year-old son, Hamza, who has autism.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Deporting Emine would cause Hamza immense distress, as he only speaks limited Turkish and relies on the specialized services available to him here in New Jersey. Uprooting him from this support system would have severe consequences for his well-being.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Emine is not a flight risk - she is a mother, community member, and neighbor. Neither Celal nor Emine have criminal records or prior orders of removal by an immigration judge. She needs to be released on bond so she can return home. Until she is released, the restaurant, which is their main source of income, is closed. <strong>So please help out any way you can.</strong>

<div>On Friday, August 30, 2024, I was terminated from the Department of Environmental Protection’s Office of Park Planning after alerting the public regarding a secret, fast-tracked plan to build golf courses, 350-room hotels, disc golf courts, and pickleball courts within critical habitats across 9 of our Florida State Parks. These atrocious proposals, which were not going to be released until the day before the scheduled public meetings, have been suspended for now, and we are all feeling great about that. As a state employee and single dad working a weekend side-job, I knew that sounding the alarm was a risky move. However, I saw myself as a public servant first and felt that it was the only ethical thing to do. This issue became far more important than any individual’s employment status with DEP. As I seek a path forward professionally in coming days and weeks, I would be incredibly grateful for anyone willing to lend a hand; any amount would be appreciated.
</div>
<div><br />

<div>I have been with the Office of Park Planning for over two years, serving with dedication while building my skills as a cartographer and specializing in maps of Florida’s mosaic of conservation lands, especially Florida State Parks. After the best two years of my professional career, where I built great relationships with Florida Park Service staff all over the state and enjoyed mapping out a significant swath of our amazing park system, I was directed to create nine maps depicting shocking and destructive infrastructure proposals, while keeping quiet as they were pushed through an accelerated and under-the-radar public engagement process. My decision to make my maps public, along with the accompanying proposal summaries, ended my career with the Florida Park Service. Whether I start my own business or join a more conservation-minded organization, I’m ready to get back to work as a professional cartographer!

Support an Ethical Whistleblower's New Start

<div>Many of you only know Stormy Daniels through the headlines; you’ve heard her described as a porn star, witness, victim, and villain. But as her friends, we would like to introduce you to the Stormy we know. Unlike much of the rest of the world, the descriptions we use to tell others about Stormy are mother, protector, advocate, equestrian, author, filmmaker, and friend. We often put "mother" first, not because that’s all she is, but because that particular job motivates everything else she does. As our friend, Stormy has fought an epic tale of David vs. Goliath, and we are the ones she has called, texted, and sought advice from. We have had front-row seats to the parts of this story that don’t fit neatly into click-bait headlines. You have gotten "Key witness in Trump case: a porn star," whereas those of us who really know her have seen the longer-running realities, like Stormy Daniels not knowing whether or not her family will have a home come August and calling us at midnight, tears in her eyes, trying to navigate a truly unprecedented situation.

We have also watched in horror as the justice system has continually failed our friend.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>One of the most powerful men in the world has been given every concession imaginable, while the misguided harlot is thrown to the side with a “thank you for your service” muttered under the breath of the collective conscience of our nation. We know that so many of you have wanted to support her but haven’t known how. Many of you have shown up in support at events, outside the courthouses, and sent thousands of emails sharing your gratitude for the sacrifices that Stormy has made to bring about justice and expose the tyranny happening in our nation. A day will come when all will be made right, but if history has taught us anything, sometimes those who sacrificed the most never get to see that day with us.

Stormy Daniels’ fight has just begun. Since the verdict was announced on May 30, 2024, she’s received countless death threats. The New York Post doxed her by leaking her home address, and the legal battles have just begun. It’s become unsafe for her family and her pets. Her horses have been shot twice now by protesters and even mainstream media paparazzi trying to provoke her out of her home. As if that’s not bad enough, Trump is still tangling her up in lawsuits in an effort to bleed her dry financially because his cult of minions will foot the bill for him to do so.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>
<div><span> Recently, Stormy was sent discovery documents to aid in collection of the attorney fee judgment. It is standard practice to request a list of assets, accounts, property, etc. HOWEVER, the forms Stormy was given also required that she provide her minor child’s personal information including legal name, father’s address and more. This information is not only a violation of a child’s privacy but has the potential of becoming very real and immediate danger. In response to her own doxing and fearing for her daughter’s safety, Stormy declined to provide those details unless a confidentiality agreement was granted. The court denied her request and a motion to compel hearing scheduled. No mother should be forced to choose between protecting her innocent child and being held in contempt of court.</span><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It would be easy to fill this page with countless details, anecdotes, and newspaper articles, but this is a simple plea. If you are here reading this, you are likely on one of two sides of this issue: you are a gawker who is simply here to mock and ridicule, or you are here because you have been a long-time supporter of Stormy and you want to know what actionable steps you can take to make a difference. If you are the latter, we want to make that very simple for you. We aren’t publicists or lawyers, just concerned friends who want to keep someone we love safe, that’s it.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div> Stormy needs help to relocate her family to somewhere they can feel safe and live life on their terms. She needs assistance to be able to continue to pay the mounting court fees so that Trump doesn’t just win because his pocketbook seems endless. To date, Stormy has had to foot the bill for all of this, and it has depleted her resources and savings. There is currently a $600,000 judgment against Stormy for Trump’s legal fees from a case that was dismissed. This is a coded action in an attempt to make her family lose their house and face homelessness or worse. It’s paramount that we prevent this from happening! Each dollar we raise will be a validation that we also care about Stormy and are willing to continue this fight. Trump may have a mega fundraising operation to keep him from facing consequences, but that shouldn’t mean that Stormy becomes the sacrificial lamb of a corrupt system.

Despite all of these setbacks, Stormy has continued in this fight because she firmly believes in this country, its possibilities, and what we can accomplish together as a nation if we hold firm to the principles of democracy which are the bedrock of our Republic.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div> Upon the closing of the Constitutional Convention, Benjamin Franklin was asked by a woman named Elizabeth Willing Powel, "Well, Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?”

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div> “A republic, if you can keep it.”

Our Republic does not stand purely on the ideals of democracy but was built upon a promise, one declared on July 4th, 1776, that all people, created equal, should have the right to “pursue life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” If we allow Stormy, after choosing to stand up to the President of these United States, to lose her life, her liberty, or her happiness, then we have failed at the very foundational core of what this nation was built upon. Should we fail here, we fear, Doctor Franklin, that we have chosen now, some 250 years later, a monarchy.<br />

David continues to fight through an incredibly difficult journey with cancer, and this is a way for us to pull together as a community to help this sweet family. David and Devin have such strength. <div>On behalf of the Las Vegas Asian Chamber of Commerce, we are asking for our community’s help for Chengyan Wang. He was brutally shot multiple times at Shanghai Taste while working on Dec 20th.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>In partnership with the owners of Shanghai Taste, we are looking to raise enough funds for his recovery, proper care and sustenance throughout 2022.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>Mr. Wang is a hard worker who provides for his family back home. As he is alone with no family here, we are asking for your kind support as he is undergoing medical attention.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>LVACC and Shanghai Taste are looking forward to his recovery and we thank our community for your willingness to assist and support in his time of need.

Help Chengyan Wang of Shanghai Taste brutally shot

<div>Hi, my name is Audrey Williams. I am the wife of Johnny Williams for the past 34 years.
</div>

<div>I wanted to reach out and let you know that I'm fundraising to help Johnny pay for his
</div>

<div>medical bills, home health aide when I'm working, everyday living expenses, and home
</div>

<div>repairs. In addition, we need to plan funeral arrangements.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>On Sunday 6/19/22 Father's Day, Johnny was admitted to Baptist Hospital in Miami,
</div>

<div>with Hepatic Encephalopathy due to Liver Cancer and Diabetes. He was taken to the
</div>

<div>ICU where he was given many medications and treatments to improve his state of mind.
</div>

<div>He is progressing slowly, his mind is clearing some, but he has a long road to try and
</div>

<div>function somewhat independently.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>Johnny has been sick with Liver Cancer for almost 2 years now. Losing a lot of weight
</div>

<div>and feeling very fatigued. He has endured Chemotherapy and Radiation therapy. I am a
</div>

<div>nurse at Baptist Hospital and have taken a family medical leave to care for him. I need to
</div>

<div>return to work, we need the money for his medical expenses, a home aid, everyday bills,
</div>

<div>and some repairs to our home so Johnny can be comfortable in his last few months.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>Back in March 2022, Johnny developed a Tumor Thrombus near the right side of his heart. <br />A very dangerous procedure which he made it through. Post-op developed a PE
</div>

<div>(Pulmonary Emboli) and was started on a Heparin Drip, which is very risky for Johnny due
</div>

<div>to his low platelet count and high risk for bleeding. He recovered and came home.
</div>

<div>Johnny has had many procedures done on his liver, Tipps Procedure with multiple
</div>

<div>revisions. A Y90 procedure, radiation seeds implant, and ablation of the liver for the
</div>

<div>tumors.
</div>

<div>

</div>

<div>Johnny Jr., Nicholas, Jennifer, and Heather mean the world to us.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>It has come to that point with Johnny’s Diagnosis of Liver Cancer, that we realized we need help from our community. I’m reaching out to whoever can help Johnny Williams and his family as we try to get through this most difficult and trying time in our lives.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>All funds will go to pay the medical bills and any shortfall in living expenses if there is extended time off work required for me to care for Johnny.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>With everything Johnny has gone through, he has had a Guardian Angel looking out for him. Johnny and I have our faith.

UPDATES 04 February 2021<br /><br />Goal<br />We have increased the goal for Heidi and Val as their extended costs of paying legal bills, as well as their home maintenance arrears that have accumulated due to not being able to evict this grifter from their home, has ballooned.<br /><br />THANK YOU ALL!!!!!  Our local neighborhood and NYC community along with extended community support from around the nation, and even the globe, is incredible and heartening to see.<br /><br />Please read and share this New York Magazine investigative article by Bridget Read detailing the 20 year trail of grifting by the <br />West Village Grifter who continues to occupy their home.  It runs in the February 1, 2021 print publication and online on <br />NYMag's The Cut:<br /><br /><a href="https://www.thecut.com/article/kate-gladstone-roommate-west-village-nyc.html#_ga=2.116588111.853518451.1612493467-1952393491.1612493467"><a href="https://www.thecut.com/article/kate-gladstone-roommate-west-village-nyc.html#_ga=2.116588111.853518451.1612493467-1952393491.1612493467" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.thecut.com/article/kate-gladstone-roommate-west-village-nyc.html#_ga=2.116588111.853518451.1612493467-1952393491.1612493467</a></a><br /><br /><br />Heidi and her partner are still waiting for the courts to allow them to execute the warrant of eviction they secured in February of 2020, and save their home and future security.<br /><br />In solidarity,<br />Heidi and Val's Fundraising Team<br /><br />********************************************************<br /><br />THE STORY...<br /><br />Our West Village neighbor and my friend, Heidi Russell,  has been tormented for a year by a scamming, destructive roommate who has refused to pay rent for a spare bedroom after paying for only ONE month in June 2019 or move.  After asking her several times to move out, Heidi had to hire a lawyer to get through the costly and time consuming eviction process.  Heidi was poised to be able to get this horrible person out on March 31st with a warrant of eviction her lawyers secured...then the pandemic blanket eviction moratorium hit. This person is a seasoned grifter and has done this very same thing to other people in the West Village and beyond, using her maiden name (Kate Gladstone), and has also been indicted on felonies and arrested for violating protection orders under her legal married name (Katherine Klein). Because of the coronavirus blanket eviction moratorium this grifter was awarded a Housing court order allowing her to come back into Heidi’s small apartment, even though the grifter left for over two weeks with no word in July. The judge is allowing this grifter to endanger Heidi’s life further! <br /><br />Heidi  has spent all her money and energy in the past year fighting this squatter and now has lost her job due to the pandemic,  has had to borrow thousands of dollars for legal fees, and is literally down to a skeleton weekly budget for basic bills and food while she tries to protect her home. She needs our help!   Please give whatever you can!  <br /><br />You may have read about this in the NY Post and other media outlets because the court papers are full of such incredible stories - the mess that the grifter has made of Heidi’s neat apartment, the bizarre accusations she hurls at Heidi, blocking common areas, and spraying cleaning chemicals all over Heidi’s bedroom door and directly on Heidi.  This article describes the nightmare that has become Heidi's life.<br /><br /><a href="https://nypost.com/2020/08/22/serial-grifter-avoids-eviction-from-womans-nyc-home-suit/">https:/nypost.com/2020/08/22/serial-grifter-avoids-eviction-from-womams-nyc-home-suit/? </a><br /><br />Heidi is a fine-art photographer, indie publisher and curator, and founded International Women Artists' Salon in 2008 to promote women in the arts around the world, including hosting a radio show, exhibitions, conferences and other showcases for women artists  - you can find her on Facebook, LinkedIn and her photography Instagram is @HeidiRussellGlobal.<br /><br />She is a kind and generous person and a good neighbor. She needs and deserves our help.   Please give whatever you can to get her through this nightmare until she can find some justice. <br /><br /><a href="https://nypost.com/2020/08/29/nyc-grifter-roomie-spend-first-week-after-squatters-return">Https://nypost.com/2020/08/29/nyc-grifter-roomie-spend-first-week-after-squatters-return</a><br /><br />Note:<br />Heidi asks that if you or someone you know has been affected by a housing grifter prior to the pandemic or using the pandemic as a shield to contact her at <a href="mailto:[email redacted]">[email redacted]</a>. Because of firsthand experience she is also on a mission as an activist to help amend the tenant/landlord housing laws to be more fair for single homeowners and lessees who need to rent a spare room to make ends meet, who bare an unfair burden of cost, time, and often personal safety, to protect their homes.<br />Thank you!<br /><br /><a href="https://nypost.com/2020/08/24/how-protecting-tenants-hurts-innocents/"><a href="https://nypost.com/2020/08/24/how-protecting-tenants-hurts-innocents/" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://nypost.com/2020/08/24/how-protecting-tenants-hurts-innocents/</a></a><br /><br /><br /><br />Other Press<br /><br /><a href="https://thevillagesun.com/village-woman-fights-to-evict-serial-grifter"><a href="https://thevillagesun.com/village-woman-fights-to-evict-serial-grifter" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://thevillagesun.com/village-woman-fights-to-evict-serial-grifter</a></a>

Help A Neighbor Victimized by a Grifter

<div>As many of you are aware, Larry Blustein, has been suffering with a severe case of Covid. (As of today Larry is finally home). With everyone’s prayers Larry will hopefully get through this and will be back on the sidelines and in the studio making a difference as he has done for thousands of high school athletes for the last 40 years. Larry and his wife are very private people when it comes to their personal lives and have a difficult time asking for help. When Larry is finally able to come home he will need a lot of medical assistance and home care of which insurance will cover very little. His hospital bills are mounting up and now is the time for all of us to say thank you for all that he has done for so many.

</div>

<div>For those of you that don’t know me, Larry and I have known each other, here in South Florida, for over forty years.  I was a football and basketball coach at Coral Gables High and then spent 25 years as the school’s athletic director.  I am currently The Director of Outreach and Development for the FBI Citizens Academy Alumni Association.  Larry and I are currently involved with the Orange Bowl Football Showcase and a documentary that is about the history of Dade County High School Football.

</div>

<div>I want to assure everyone that every penny donated, minus the Go Fund Me fees, will be put directly into the designated bank account that was approved by Larry’s wife.  Those monies will be used specifically for Larry’s medical bills and costs for follow up care.

</div>

<div>I want to thank Andre Fernandez and the people at the Miami Herald, Manny Navarro with The Athletic, Dave Hyde at The Sun Sentinel and Jim Berry at CBS Cannel 4 for your  wonderful stories about Blu and for promoting this Go Fund Me page.  Also a special shout out to Alex Donno, Zack Krantz and Joe Rose for your kind words and also promoting Larry’s Go Fund Me page.

$55 away!!!<br /><br />Your donations are making a difference for Undergrounds Coffeehaus. Undergrounds Coffeehaus has been in business 14 years.  Year 2020 has brought so many challenges which have drastically affected our income &amp; nerves.  Hours of operation changed due to curfews, protests, shutdown, products changed as we went completely disposable &amp; contactless with Odeko ordering along with an increase in advertising to give info to our customers, we lost our room rentals due to Covid &amp; this all caused business to slowed down, &amp; the bills kept coming.  The bill UGCH is most concerned about is rent, we are severly behind.  Our landlords have done their best in being patient but patience has grown thin.  We need ANGELS to help with this.   <br /><br />Small businesses have truly suffered through these dark ages.   UGCH is a mom, no pop, coffee shop that encourages creativity, plugging in &amp; relaxing in our living room.   We love artists, crafters, musicians &amp; invite all walks of life to grab a cup of Joe &amp; stay awhile.  The Haus promotes family as we have all  become one big family.   We are looking for philanthropist(s) to help us.  We do not qualify for State, Government or County help &amp; I have tried.  As the frustration is strong, I refuse to give up (Rocky theme music playing  in the background) &amp; the Haus will continue to live in 2021. <br /><br />Our goal is to reach for $6,000 to mainly help with rent, update furniture, maintenance &amp; repaint the whole Haus amist a deep clean.    We are looking to reach our goal by the first week of February.  The Haus has been blessed by those who have donated to our cause financially &amp; those who donated their time with labor and effort.<br /><br />Our customers love us.  We have been blessed with those who have walked through our doors who have started in High School, visited us when coming home from college then got married, started a family &amp; still love the Haus .  We have had a weddings, funerals, lots of birthday parties, first dates &amp; the events go on &amp; on.   We are GRATEFUL for any amount you can give &amp; will pay it forward with our community efforts.  Thank you for reading this &amp; sharing this.  We ask those who can give to think about what the Haus means to you.  Help us get through 2021 as we move onto full rent starting January 2021. You can help the Haus this year as we get back on our feet. <div><strong>4 Years ago: during COVID 19,</strong> YOU showed us an overwhelming wave of kindness by donating to our GoFundMe campaign. With the funds we collected from you, we were able to pay the overdue rent, stabilize the Restaurant, keeping the doors open and operating for 4 years, however, it was quite evident that we were not operating at sustainable levels. We pushed through anyway and continued to serve our customers and our community, including providing hot meals for our weekly feedings provided for the homeless and food insecure populations, and training youth in our community.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Fast forward to today</strong>:
</div>
<div>Everything came to a halt on March 30, where it was just not possible to continue with all the broken pieces. A broken A/C, broken equipment and skyrocketing inflation. We decided to close Lauderhill to renovate the space and bring it back with an updated environment for you our customers and community.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We started the renovations and two weeks in, we had a water main break which ate up most of our renovation budget. We are current with the rent, however, we would like to continue the renovation process and we are asking you to consider being a generous donor once again.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are anxious to reopen the Restaurant and as we say in Jamaica - "every likkle mickle mek a muckle" - so I am asking you to kindly consider supporting us once again, helping us to get back to business serving our authentic Jerk Cuisine.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Jerk Machine is resilient and has served this community with heart and soul for over 35 years. Jerk Machine has always been a giving company and continues to make a difference through creating preventative programs including a culinary training program for our at-risk youth in the community and continues to be a champion for fostering growth in small business in the community and is quick to support non-profit organizations like Homeless Hearts and Aiding AIDS, Inc., providing HOT AND NUTRITIOUS MEALS for the Homeless and others who are food insecure.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are truly grateful for any support you can give, and thank you for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers. ❤️

Hello Family, Friends snd Supporters!! Thank you so much for all the love and prayers you have been sending me. This has been a long journey for me and my family. But God!!! I will continue to walk in His path for me. Trusting Him is all I know to do.
I am doing well and adjusting to the technology that has come out since I was locked up.
I can’t begin to explain how much I miss my mother, Lola Flowers, she was my rock and my #1 supporter. It hurt like crazy not being able to have her here with me. My mom was someone I could talk to whenever things got tough and she always knew what to say to make me feel better. It has really been hard for me since her death but I know she would want me to keep on pressing on so I must continue to keep my hands in God’s hand and never give up. Continue on her legacy!!

On 11/09/2020 (her Birthday) my 14 year old Granddaughter Honestie  was taken to Helen Devos Children’s Hospital by my daughter. Honestie tested positive for COVID-19 and was sent home. Later that evening Honestie was rushed to the hospital by ambulance, since then Honestie was moved to ICU. She has had a iron transfusion, she’s oxygen now but they are talking about putting her on a ventilator and possibly a feeding tube, she’s receiving a blood transfusion as I write this. Honestie has liquid that is collecting in her stomach and they have no idea where it’s coming from since she is not taking any food or drink by mouth. Because of this she may have to have surgery. I’m asking for donations to help my daughter get through this, obviously she has not been able to work as a frontliner she is a NA at a local nursing home. She has not left her daughters side yet (even though she has 4 other children) at the moment my daughter is in need of things like food for her and children, gas for the vehicle her wonderful friend let her borrow and possibly help with utilities. Any and every donation would be greatly appreciated. Regardless of the amount.<img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/52553358_1605278448711548_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="52553358_1605278448711548_r.jpeg" /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/52553358_1605278468483793_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="52553358_1605278468483793_r.jpeg" /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/52553358_1605278499183531_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="52553358_1605278499183531_r.jpeg" /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/52553358_1605278571113763_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="52553358_1605278571113763_r.jpeg" /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/52553358_1605278729819583_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="52553358_1605278729819583_r.jpeg" /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/52553358_1605278791721846_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="52553358_1605278791721846_r.jpeg" /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/52553358_1605278843820804_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="52553358_1605278843820804_r.jpeg" /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/52553358_1605279004158177_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="52553358_1605279004158177_r.jpeg" /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/52553358_1605279089170993_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="52553358_1605279089170993_r.jpeg" /><br />Thank you all so much in advance. ❤️

COVID-19 Sucks!

I ask you to imagine our Las Vegas Community without the resources of its favorite and popular bookstore; namely, Amber Unicorn Books that Lou and Myrna Donato have owned and operated for nearly 40 years.  Amber Unicorn is the area's largest independent used bookstore where residents and visitors can sell, trade, and buy books.  As bleak a scenario as this presents, it has sadly become a reality if the current economic situation does not improve.<br /><br />Two years ago, Trader Joe's abruptly vacated its tenancy, leaving the shopping center without an anchor store, which in turn delivered a huge blow to Amber Unicorn.  The store experienced a 30% drop in revenue that has never been recovered.  Shortly after, a devastating loss was suffered in the unexpected death of Lou Donato, a much beloved and internationally respected bookseller and owner.  Many of you will remember Lou's warm welcome to every customer, never too busy for conversation or to share his expertise.<br /><br />While Lou typically manned the "front of the house", Myrna focused on the administration and business affairs.  Upon Lou's untimely passing, Myrna's sole vision was to honor her husband's legacy by keeping the doors open and continuing to extend the same services to the growing community they both loved.<br /><br />While Myrna has done an exemplary job in maintaining the business, there are obstacles, outside of her control, that present dramatic challenges.  Staff and expenses have been reduced, and 25% sales are continuously run to boost revenue.  However, vacancies in the shopping center continue to rise with the recent announcement that US Bank (which shares our parking lot) will close this fall.  Without pedestrian traffic from other tenants, Amber Unicorn has become a destination spot, making business unpredictable and always in the decline.  The viability of the store to operate for the immediate future is  questionable, which could result in a potential sale of the business or its closure.  <br /><br />This GoFundMe campaign is a humble appeal to the beloved customers, friends, and patrons, and to all who realize that every community needs a bookstore like Amber Unicorn in order to thrive.  Any contribution is very much appreciated and will go towards the operating expenses and the endeavor to keep Amber Unicorn a place where people come to engage their imaginations and knowledge.

On Wednesday, January 29, 2020, John made a visit to the ER and was diagnosed with the Flu and slight signs of pneumonia.  He was sent home after IV fluids and antibiotics.   Saturday, February 1, John was transported to the hospital due to very high fever and was admitted as his flu &amp; pneumonia symptoms were getting worse.  About 2 am on Sunday morning, he was moved to an ICU unit and put on a ventilator because he needed help breathing.  Despite heavy antibiotics and breathing treatments, the infection worsened.  The infection was very aggressive and attacked his lung tissue. His lungs were no longer able to make the gas exchange to put oxygen into his blood and remove carbon dioxide and as a result went into respiratory failure.  On Monday, the 3rd, John was placed on, life support to take over the function of the lungs.  As more test results are coming in, they have added a diagnosis of severe H1N1 virus.  Doctors are saying this is a really bad flu season and John's case is the worse that they have seen.<br /><br />As of today, February 11, doctors are optimistic, but he remains in ICU and on life support (9 days, so far).   He continues to run a fever off and on and is needing an extraordinary amount of sedation to keep him comfortable.  He is in the right place as the Cleveland Clinic has doctors and nurses that specialize in the ECMO use in adults.  It requires  multiple people to monitor him as well as the machines constantly.  <br /><br />The doctors are telling the family that although they are optimistic, he remains very sick and in critical condition and that this is going to continue to be a slow process.  As you can imagine, the medical costs are quickly mounting and will continue.  Overwhelming to say the least especially with the loss of his income.<br /><br />John is always first in line to help someone in need, and would never imagine being in the situation of needing help himself. He makes himself available to help friends and family and has an especially soft spot for military personnel, veterans, firefighters, and police officers.  He volunteers his time as an umpire in softball tournaments raising money for people in need.  One of his favorites is the Wounded Warriors.<br /><br />I am launching this Go Fund Me Campaign on behalf of my brother and his wife Sharon.   Many people are reaching out and asking what they can do to help, so this is a first step in efforts to ease some of the burden and stress that a catastrophic medical emergency such as this can have on a family.  This will allow Sharon to focus on John's healing and recovery, and look after the kids.<br /><br /><strong>So put on your rally cap (preferably a Cubs cap) for John.</strong>  Any financial contribution you can offer will go directly toward medical costs and living expenses while John is unable to work .   Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers. <strong> Get your flu shot!!!!<br /><br /></strong>We are updating John Hinz facebook page twice a day if you would like to check in on him.

Hi everyone,<br /><br />As many of you are already aware, Ed was admitted to the hospital recently where he spent over a week being poked and prodded at by doctors and nurses who were trying to figure out what was going on. He was in there for over a week and was as patient as a person could be while awaiting results. <br /><br />Ed was discharged from the hospital the other day. He began his outpatient treatment today. Ed is battling stage IV adenocarcinoma of the lung. He will be receiving radiation 4 times a week and chemotherapy once a week. When I spoke with Ed, they were unsure of how long he will have to have the radiation and chemo. Even with this news, Ed is still as upbeat and positive as one can be. We all know this man is a fighter. <br /><br />What we also know is that EVERYONE loves this guy. So many people have reached out to help. We have raised money with fundraisers but that's not enough!! Everyone in this industry knows that the majority of us do not have health insurance, and we also know that every single day that you are unable to work is money missing out of your pocket. These are such stressful factors on their own but when you are looking at extended treatment for an illness, those thoughts and the stress that comes from them is amplified. That's where we all come in. The money collected on this Go Fund Me page will go directly to Ed. This will help with hospital bills, medications, bills, groceries etc. Every donation will  help ease the stress of all of the above things and allow Ed to focus on what is important right now and that is getting better and kicking this horrible diseases butt!!! <br /><br />PLEASE SHARE THIS PAGE!!! Ed is an amazing man, as we all know. He is the type of person that would do anything he possibly could to help out another person, no questions asked. This is our chance to do the same, to help an amazing person battle this nasty disease. So share the page as much as possible, every little bit helps!!!

<strong>My daughter.  The love of my life a shining star. She is suffering from anorexia nervosa. She is a  just a child.   I almost lost her once.  She lost 120 pounds and almost died. She was inpatient in Maryland at one time.<br /> Recently, with the help  of caring people like yourselves,  I have purchased health insurance for Hannah. This will allow Hannah to get the treatment she needs and be able  to stay home here in Florida where she and I live. <br />We still need so much more in this campaign to give the gift of life to Hannah this holiday season.<br />She is suffering lost wages.  She needs  your help.<br />Your donations will literally provide her quality of life during this life long fight.<br />Every penny will go toward paying deductibles, co pays and living expenses.  If she has to go back into the hospital this money would go to help support her as she could be in the hospital for up to a year.  This is a very serious disorder.  The ultimate price she would pay is her life.   I will NEVER let that happen.  But we need your help. She will receive treatment but there is so much more to pay for.  She and I are all we have.  I beg of you to show mercy.  Only your generosity can save her. Words of gratitude, for those of you who will be the ones to save her life, would fail me.  My darling, precious child.  I pray. All loving God please  bless those that help giving Hannah the gift of life.  Thank you. Sondra, her mother.</strong>
