You are traveling across the stars on a routine trip to drop off your cargo. You go into cryo sleep and wake up in a ship veering off course. You see a familiar face that soothes your apprehension, but soon you reality begins to feel thin, artificial and sterile. What has happened? Where am I really? Welcome to the world of Beyond the Aquila Rift, where consciousness, space, time and reality are fluid and colliding all at once. Adapted for stage by Matthew Rainsberry, from the 2016 story written by Alastair Reynolds, this play brings to life a world beyond the conventions of traditional theatre, immersing the audience in the world of The Blue Goose and the ominous Saumlaki Station.
